1) Quiet but convenient location - 2 mins walk to Shichijo subway station and a few bus stops away from Kiyomizu-dera. 2) Laundry machine in room (no drying function but drying rack is provided). 3) Good kitchenette, decent for long-term stay. 4) No curfew (encountered other Kyoto home hotels that had curfew around 10pm).

“Perfect Kyoto base in a quiet, almost cinematic side street”

The team at reception was very friendly and the whole place was clean, well kept and just easy to check in. The location is excellent if you want to explore Kyoto without staying directly in the loudest tourist chaos. Shichijo Station and the Keihan Main Line are very close, so you are connected in a really strategic way. At the same time the hotel sits in a quiet little side street that almost feels cinematic, and in around 5 minutes you are already at the Kamo River. The room was also very practical. The bathroom was much more generous than expected, with a small bathtub and a large shower cabin. Having a washing machine in the room was a big plus, even without dryer function. For a few days in Kyoto this was basically perfect.

The hotel had a washing machine within each unit, and was situated in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood area. A family mart is super close by and they also let me hold my luggage after check out-- making it so easy for me to explore the neighbourhood after checkout!

Excellent hotel in a great, quiet location. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the stay. The staff were amazing — very friendly, professional, and always helpful. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well prepared, with all the facilities you may need. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the people made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!

Spacious unit with a kitchenette and washing machine. No dryer but small balcony helped get our clothes dry. About a 30 minute walk to Kyoto Station but very close to one metro line so could connect to various other lines. Lots of close by eating options and a great gin bar!

the rooms were small but fairly ok, very comfortable beds and clean, very small shower but all new and great hot water with many amenities. the staff was very nice and helpful with information, and the location is within walking distance from metro and temples and cafes and shops, while still being in a small and quiet street with traditional feel. the kids room has 3 separate beds which was amazing for us.
