The owner checked us in himself. He gave us all the neccesary information on the area, very informative. Our family room was spacious, neat and very comfortable. It was a cold night, but the room was warm and cozy. We had the most wonderful home cooked breakfast with lots of variety. We also ate dinner at the restaurant - fantastic. Very close to the Giethoorn whisper boats. Great location. Good for families,

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its location is absolutely perfect—just right in front of a beautiful stream, which made the whole experience even more peaceful and relaxing. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though we arrived late at night, he went out of his way to pick us up from the train station, which we truly appreciated. That level of hospitality made us feel very comfortable right from the start. Despite the late hour, he patiently explained the area to us, showed us a map, and recommended places we should visit the next morning. The breakfast was also great—simple, but very tasty and filling, giving us a good start to the day. Another thoughtful touch was that they allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel even after checkout, which made our travel plans much easier. Overall, a lovely stay with warm hospitality. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Our stay at this wonderful hotel was simply unforgettable! From the very first moment we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm and heartfelt welcome by the owner himself. He immediately made us feel at home and took the time to sit with us and show us, on a map, all the attractions and fun things to do in the area. His recommendations were fantastic and truly helped us make the most of our trip. He personally showed us to our room and carefully explained all the details to ensure we were comfortable. The room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully prepared. As we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, he surprised her with a lovely box of chocolates and even decorated the room for the occasion. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and made her day extra special! The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed lunch, dinner, and breakfast at the hotel, and every meal was generous in portion and incredibly tasty. You could really feel the care and quality in every dish. What touched us most was his genuine kindness and patience. He was so sweet and understanding with my daughters, who can be quite talkative, and he always responded with a smile. He even tried to fix my broken glasses — such a kind and unexpected gesture! This hotel offers not only comfort and excellent food, but also a truly personal and caring experience. We felt like valued guests from beginning to end. We will definitely be back again at the end of August. Thank you so much for everything! ❤️
