The Hotel Köhler is located in the centre of Gießen, just 600 metres from the main train station. It offers well-equipped rooms, a traditional restaurant and good links with the A485 motorway. “Can't recommend it, even for the budget price.”
It wasn't stated, (like it is on most descriptions), that the parking was paid-parking. The hotel was pretty shabby and dirty, at least in the building where I stayed. In a pretty empty hotel, I was given a room on the top floor, which was boiling hot, and opening the window created so much noise as it was above the busy Main Street. I removed the duvet out of the sheet, just to use only the sheet as it was so hot, and found some unpleasant marks on the duvet. You can get much better quality for the same price in nearby hotels, eg. B&B ....

“Lovely hotel with friendly staff.”
Friendly hotel with great staff at reception always happy to help. Rooms are clean and serviced daily. Breakfast was very good with reasonabvle choices. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

I liked the room in general. It was clean and comfortable. I was lucky, cause this time Wi-Fi was working🙂 The good thing is that the hotel is located almost in the center of the city near bus lines.

The location was really nice, right in the city center. The room was quite clean and comfortable with a big bed. The hotel staff was also friendly.
