The location was great. Walking distance from the airport and lots of bars and restaurants. It had everything we needed. The apartment having 2 bathrooms, including a bath and a balcony was fantastic. The bedrooms were to the rear of the property and were really quiet. The host was very helpful too.

Great location, 2 minutes walk from bars and restaurants on the waterfront at Ocean Village, 5 minutes to bus station, taxi rank and town centre with cafes, bars, restaurants and of course shops. Great communication from host both before and during our stay. Arriving very late (almost midnight) due to flight being diverted to Malaga due to torrential rain and thunderstorms, it was lovely to receive a message from our host checking that we had arrived safely, and we very much appreciated the chilled bottle of wine and water left for us in the fridge!

Communication with the property manager was great, although payment was requested via bank transfer which although more common across Europe is not for a UK resident. We were consequently dubious, especially as we have received fraudulent messages through the booking.com messaging system. The manager made sure that we felt confident before payment by seeing the property first and provided a prompt receipt. Access and instructions were very easy to follow. The £15 pool charge was worthwhile. The property had good amenities, cafetière for coffee, microwave, large fridge freezer and a washing machine (which we used for the night when BA lost our bags) also a pull out bed. There were more but these were the important ones for us. The cleanliness was acceptable, the location great for walking to everything in Gibraltar, we didn’t need to take a bus or taxi even for the airport. Also, a short walk for the border, we popped over to visit the beach, parks and grab food (avoid commute times for the border or shortly after planes land for short crossing times). The only improvement for us would be bed size, my husband is tall and broad shouldered, we are used to a large bed and the master has a UK double or possibly European equivalent. It’s a small issue that didn’t overly affect our stay as we just swapped with our young son for the twin and he was delighted to stay in the “big bed” Also the chain was broken on the door, we were worried our son would let himself out by accident so we just popped a chair there overnight! For the host-a bread knife would be a great addition to the kitchen… Overall great stay-we hope to return!

Location was great, Malin was very helpful. Ive been going to Gib for over 10 years and ive stayed in all the top hotels, the best thing I have done is finding this place, brilliant as simple as that.

Great coms between the host and gave plenty of advice on touring the rock and on crossing the border into Spain. Also gave plenty of instructions on how to find the place with pictures and how to get in etc; so was very easy to get there and get settled. Was very understanding as we were skeptical at first with the payment being a bank transfer. He let us arrive and settle in before paying so was all good. The apartment was lovely and fully equiped with everything we needed. The location was perfect as near the airport and also in town near all amenities. The view from the living room was exceptional with an amazing view of the 'Rock'. Highly recommend.

The flat was in an excellent location, very close to Ocean Village, Casemates, and other attractions. The flat was extremely well presented and in good order. We were particularly happy to see that the flat was actually set up to be family friendly unlike others which advertise as such on this site.
