Karl, the host was very welcoming and exceeded our expectations in recommendations and hospitality. It felt like a friends home rather than a hotel.

Karl was very helpful, available and friendly. Property is beautifully presented and very comfortable. Easy walk from train station and then into the old town.

Karl was excellent at looking after us, and he was a very interesting guy to talk to. The room was great - very comfortable. Breakfast was buffet only, but was of very good quality. Position was a short 8-minute walk from the station.

10 for hospitality, the host was very nice and offered his opinion where required. The bed was a delight, comfortable and inviting, we could not wake up. We did not try the breakfast but will do the next visit. Highly recommended!

Karl was a very welcoming host and made our stay especially enjoyable. The room was perfectly clean with super comfy bed. Breakfasts were delicious and provided an opportunity to get to know fellow guests. We enjoyed meeting people from Netherlands, Germany, Ireland and GB.

I had such a warm and comfortable stay here. It was so quiet, and I had a great night’s sleep every time. Props to the chef for the breakfast! If I ever make it back to Gent, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The staff (Karl and possibly his assistant) is super friendly and helpful. Karl gave us his phone number for easier contact and the assistant offered us great advice on breakfast. The room is spacious, clean, and very quiet indeed.

“Wonderful place”

My wife and I had a lovely stay in the B&B. Communication with the owner/Karl was excellent (fast, helpful and to-the -point). The room was very nice and Karl made an excellent breakfast (just for us since we were the only ones there, it is perhaps a bit expensive but very good value for the money, trust me). reserving a parking space is very handy (you park in a private underground parking and it is a short walk to the B&B). Would come again.

The property is very close to the station, it has super markets close by, the owner is super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was cleaned everyday. The room was super quiet and the air conditioning was nice. We were give daily water supply and there was sweets and fruits in the lobby for the guests.
