“Stunning”
The room was absolutely stunning: it had everything I needed, was gigantic but still cosy, the bed was so comfortable I slept like a log. The entire hotel was a work of art itself. Sandra was an incredible host; made me feel very welcome. It isnt terribly central - roughly 25 minute walk to the centre - but that was perfect for me because it was lovely and peaceful, and there are tonnes of public transport options within 3 or 4 minutes walk, plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants within a stones throw. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend Maidon d'Artiste to friends.

Sandra was very friendly and very quick to respond to emails. The property had lots of history and the room was nice and in keeping with the property. Lovely comfy bed and we slept very well. Walkable distance for us from the centre. There are nice restaurants and a lovely bakery nearby

What a hotel experience. I can only recommend this wonderful accommodation to anyone who appreciates art, design and attention to detail. “Immerse yourself in a different world in a home away from home”
Incredibly charming and there is a lot of loving detail in the decoration and amenities in the room. Also impeccably clean. I felt very comfortable and at home. Location very good to the next grocery store, several restaurants and even a nice park for a walk nearby. If you want you can lend a bike and visit the charming city center of Ghent.
