“Excellent hosts, excellent breakfast, public transport available for city centre”

The accommodation is situated in a quiet residential area close to restaurants and an excellent locals, (very friendly), bar. The accommodation offers street parking nearby in the square, a bus service runs from the next street into the centre of Ghent. The bedrooms have a balcony over looking the garden area, ideal for a quiet glass of wine. Daniel and Mireille were excellent hosts. After our day trips we were always treated to some cake on our return. The breakfast each morning was superb, fresh salmon, crab, strawberries and yogurt were served at the table by Daniel. Well worth a visit.

“Highly recommended”

Daniel is a true gentleman. He was kind and helpful. The continental breakfast was plentiful and varied. The tram stop was an 8 minute walk and they were every 5 or 10 minutes straight to Gent city centre. The guest house is in a very quiet and peaceful area. We had a balcony with views of the gardens and beautiful woods in the back ground. The shower was excellent and we even got to watch the darts live on TV from Blackpool where we came from.

“Great B&B with a 10/10 breakfast!”

Very comfortable, although a little way out of town it was only 10 minutes walk from the local train station. Comfortable bedrooms with a few nice touches (like the home made cake). An amazing breakfast. Allow yourself time to eat this! Danielle was very knowledgeable and really interesting to talk to.

It’s more like a 1 bedroom flat but without a kitchen

This is an amazing stay! The host are super nice people, the breakfast and the architecture are just iconic, everything is arranged perfectly.

We liked the nautical theme throughout the property. We did not meet Daniel as he was away (we had excellent communications via email though prior to arriving), but his wife, Miriele is a lovely, excellent and amazing host. She is very, very pleasant and we all felt welcome the minute we arrived. The property is very well maintained and the breakfast……well, you have to see it for yourself as there was so much it cannot be listed in this space😊😊. The bedrooms, lounges and facilities are very nice and comfortable and there is a wide assortment of tourist information there and bus and tram stops to Ghent are just a few minutes walk away. Miriele knows everything you could possible need to know! We throughly recommend Bij MoeMee to you. TO LIST

“Fantastic B&B!”

The host was very friendly (er spricht übrigens auch sehr gut deutsch ;-) ) and fulfilled our wishes e.g. for a vegetarian breakfast which was by the way fantastic! There are free parking spaces only a few meters away from the house so there is absolutely no stress in finding one. We were also able to put our bicycles in front of the house (it's only a 5 km ride to the city center). The whole accomodation was clean and we slept like "babies" in the bed - it was wonderful! We can definitely recommend this B&B!

“A very restful experience, and very convenient for me.”

Traditional European breakfast a new experience for me. It was nice to be able to also chat with other guests over breakfast. Fortunately the B&B very close to a personal friends home. Very convenient!
