“A novel experience”
The house boat was on firm and safe mooring. Ideal for an alternative and adventurous accommodation nut perhaps not if one has mobility ir balance challenges. Parking waa included and right near the houseboat.

It was a quirky place to stay and fun would highly recommend it. It was a 10min walk into the centre of gent. The area is very peaceful so no disturbances. The breakfast was excellent and delivered to your door in a picnic basket which I also thought was different but really nice. The host was excellent and very friendly.

“A novel setting, homely room and good location!”
We loved staying on the boat, such a novelty! The host was quick to respond if we needed to message him. Just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The breakfast hamper was a nice touch, and had good quality deli and pastry items.

“Great place, great location great hosts”
Our 10yr old daughter loved staying on a boat ! Only 2 rooms but fine for a night away. Great location 15 min walk to centre of beautiful Ghent. Host was very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable .

“Perfect and unique accommodation- close to everything.”
Absolutely fabulous place to stay on the river in the heart of Ghent. Only an easy 15 min walk to old centre. We had never stayed on a river barge so it was a great experience. Beautifully set up. Warm and cosy. Fantastic comfortable bed. Great shower. Coffee machine. Everything we needed. And wow the breakfast left at the front door each morning is amazing. It’s a river barge so yes there are steep stairs but that’s all part of the fun. Highly recommend for a great centre to explore. Only 3.3km to train station. Free parking with easy instructions. Loved it and thank you. J & J

“Wonderfull place to sleep in Gent”
Nice cozy place to sleep while staying at Gent. It was near the city center but away enaugh from the noise. The boat staff received us just in time for our arrival and showed us a map of the city and gave us some basic instructions. They also asked us the time to get our breackfast and they were very quiet and punctual. The breackfast bascket was great. It had lot of things to eat, tasty!!! The bed was great, there was enaugh space and we had hot water every time.

Lovely boat, great breakfast basket. Great to have parking by the boat. Easy 20 min walk or tram into the centre. Convenient local shop for supplies.

“Well located and unusual accommodation choice.”
We were given the Sailor room. The boat provided an unusual accommodation option. It was cosy but the bedroom was spacious. The space on the top deck enabled us to sit and watch the world go by. The breakfast was very generous in size and choice. Our host was very pleasant.
