Location great, perfect for a weekend stay in the old town of Ghent. Accommodation was in a quiet side street but handy for everything, clean, comfortable, well furnished. The owner, Andre, was attentive, friendly and helpful. We'd recommend this place.

Apartment was a great size, just perfect for relaxing when getting back from sightseeing. Done out in a Moroccan style, it made a real difference to the usual bland hotel rooms. Bed is very comfortable. Shower was great, nice and large. Breakfast was standard continental style. Cheese, ham, Yogurts, butter and milk in fridge. As well as eggs if you want them boiled. Fresh croissant and bread roles delivered outside your door each morning. Muesli also provided in the room. Kettle and coffee pod machine provided, with tea bags and pods in the room also. Location wise: Literally a 2 min walk from the nearest car park. 15 Euros per day. Just a few mins walk to the castle, and a few more into the center of the old town. It's a perfect location as the apartment is in a nice quiet residential road. Host Andre and his wife were excellent and very friendly. Could not do enough for us. Andre can recommend what to see, some restaurants, and in fact by accident we found he has his own restaurant in the old town.

“Perfect studio for a city trip with a friend”

The location was amazing, walking distance from the city centre. The neighbour that received us and gave the key, was super friendly. We decided to also use the sofa bed halfway our stay, and they facilitated this super smoothly. The studio had everything we needed for this city trip weekend.

Andre was a fantastic host, who gave us lots of great information about Ghent and the apartment. It had everything we needed with a very well-equipped kitchenette (including scissors - a handy wee item that so many places don't have!). We loved meeting the friendly ginger cat too :) Very comfortable, and we'd definitely stay here again if we return.

We were greeted by the owner who immediately made us feel welcome, and provided us with a comprehensive overview about how things worked and places of interest, how to get around, etc. The kitchenette was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the shower/bathroom was clean with excellent utilities. The private terrace was a nice welcome addition to chill and relax. Breakfast supplies of croissants and bread rolls were provided on time each morning, and the fridge was stocked with yoghurts, meat and cheese, etc… Great location within 10 minutes to walk to all the main tourist spots, bars restaurants, etc…but quiet. We had a great couple of days/nights in Ghent and the Allegra Nova B&B Thank you 😊

“Spacious and comfortable studio near the centre”

The studio is very spacious and comfortable. It's ideally located: a few minutes walking distance to the historical centre, so I could do everything without public transportation. Andrei is a very nice host. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and there was even yoghurt and orange juice in the fridge. Breakfast is deposited in front of the main door at the time we choose.

As soon as I walked in the door I loved this accommodation and felt very relaxed. We were greeted on time with a very warm welcome, and given comprehensive information about how things work and places of interest, how to get around, etc. bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. Loved the private terrace. Ample breakfast supplies were provided, and the delicious fresh bread basket each morning was so appreciated and enjoyed Great location to walk to all the sites, but quiet. Easy walk to the tram which took us to the train station on departure
