“Exceptional”

Mood Farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay. Relaxed and comfortable. Frederico is an exceptional host. He is warm, friendly & helpful. He gave us lots of good information to make our trip to Gozo even more enjoyable. Breakfast was a feast in itself. Gharb is a lovely village with plenty of restaurants nearby. Great to cool down in the pool after a day's sightseeing. Cannot recommend it high enough.

“Beautiful spot in a peaceful part of the island”

Frederico was the most impeccable host from start to finish! his attention to detail and all the little touches to feel cared for were so appreciated. The place itself is gorgeous and true to the pictures. We loved our room and the opportunity to dip in the pool for our baby's first swim. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice, thoughtfully put together by Frederico. He provided helpful tips for visiting sites in the local area and we loved the slow, quiet, peaceful surroundings of the little village and those around. It was truly a place to relax and have a slower pace and Mood Farmhouse was a big part of making that possible. We will be back and we will definitely choose here again when we are!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and can highly recommend this accommodation. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, but what truly made this experience unforgettable was the host, Federico. Federico is an incredibly warm, open, and genuinely interested person who made us feel welcome from the very first moment. He took the time to chat with us, gave great recommendations, and created such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that the stay felt very special and personal. The breakfast was another highlight — fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care every morning. It was the perfect start to the day and added so much to the overall experience. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Federico was there to make sure you had plenty of tea and coffee and answer any questions about the breakfast. He took an interest in all of his guests and did anything he could to help.

“Brilliant Home in a perfect atmosphere.”

Great atmosphere, great shower, great breakfast, great host (giving great tips to see!). Far away from the busy spots, but perfect to explore Gozo. Few restaurants in the village, but closed on monday/tuesday. This place gives you the option to slowdown and feel the Gozo vibe. Amazing pool, allthough the weather was far to cols to use it this time.

“Perfect host & a quiet central location.”

Federico is exactly what a brilliant host should be: friendly; informative; helpful and warm. The house is a lovely architectural slice of Maltese culture but modernised to be very comfortable and a joy to stay in. The position is perfectly suited for exploring Gozo and is in a quiet and small village. Tourism Malta should employ Federico, he is a great andvert for Gozo. The breakfasts are sourced from local farmers and growers and were delicious. A wonderful stay.

“Beautiful building, kind and generous host.”

The building has been beautifully restored, the pool is in a lovely private courtyard, the rooms are sizeable and comfortable, and the location is great. Just a few minute walk to Gharb and a few restaurants and about a 20 minute walk to Ta Pinu church. But really, the star of the show here is Federico. He truly loves what he does and that comes through in his generosity of spirit, lovely humor, and the care he takes making sure you're all sorted out for your day on this beautiful island. We really enjoyed starting our day with him and enjoying the impressive spread of sweet and savory foods served each day for breakfast. Really hope we'll be back some day.

Frederico called and we agreed to meet at the local bus stop. He arranged for us to stay in his large house, even though we had reserved a room in a smaller one. Our expectations were exceeded by Mood Farmhouse, which was renovated with great taste and every detail was thought out with great care. Frederico prioritizes his guests, attends the breakfast table himself, and provides valuable advice on restaurants, to name one example. We will definitely stay at his place if we ever return to Gozo.

The flat and the host were amazing. If you want to relax in a peaceful and beautiful place, choose this one. It feels like something out of a fairy tale.

“Perfect stay”

Everything, hosted in the best way in hospitality language. Federico was a great host. Breakfast! A touch of local and Italian. Room was perfect size and clean. Lastly, felt being in Italy away from Malta :) well-done.

The breakfast was buffet which we prefer, and was very good. The pool was such a treat, as the weather was very hot. The owner was there to meet us also served breakfast. The room and shower room were great large and airy. .

Relaxing at the pool. Very clean. Varied breakfast with lots of choice. Good shower. Super friendly and helpful owner. He gave us fantastic tips for day trips and restaurants. Would highly recommend this place.
