Overview
Located in the centre of Gerlos, these very spacious apartments are just opposite of the Dorfbahn Cable Car and ski slope. Zillertal Arena Ski Area is in the immediate vicinity. The ski run ends right at the doorstep. Each apartment at Kalle’s Familien-Appartements features bright wooden furniture, a kitchen with a dining area, and 2 bathrooms. The living rooms include a flat-screen satellite TV and an iPod docking station. A ski and bicycle storage room and free private parking are available. In summer, guests of Kalle’s Apartments can take part in guided hikes and Nordic walking tours free of charge. A supermarket and a bakery are right next door, and a practice ski run and a children’s playground are 200 metres away. The free ski bus stops 50 metres away, and Lake Gerlos is 5 km from the apartments. In summer - lift ticket included - Freemountain!!

“The longer you stay the more you find to love!”
Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Hosts Hannes and Floor (Flora) went beyond expectations in accepting a package delivery for us prior to our arrival and guiding us throughout our stay. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean with fully equipped kitchen (even a salad spinner!) Parking is directly in front of the step-free ground level entry. The extra large kitchen, living room and over-sized bathroom (with both a tub and a shower) make wheelchair access easy. The location is very central and right on the main road, but the moderate daytime traffic cannot be heard from inside the apartment and nights in the large comfortable beds are extremely quiet. A handy supermarket with bakery is next door. Forest walking paths along the stream that runs behind the apartment, or a mountain top cafe lunch and hikes are only a cable car ride away via the Gerlos Pass kindly arranged for by our host. Swimming and waterfalls are only a short drive. We would definitely choose to stay with Kalle's Familien Appartements again!
