“Tasteful - charming - comfortable”
The rooms as well as the main area are decorated with great taste. Every little detail is set such that your would feel very comfortable. Shana and John are wonderful, charming hosts. We only had breakfast there - it was beautifully served and super tasty. A great pleasure to spend time at this location. Just as a side note we found it hard to find a good restaurant in the area. Next time we are there we will know better and will dine at the location.

“Great experience, peaceful and quiet”
Bery welcoming and friendly atmosphere from the start - Sheena and John are great hosts. The rooms are nicely made up, very msodern and stylish bathrooms. Both dinner and breakfast of great quality and served in an almost family like atmosphere. Great surroundings, peaceful and quiet, slept well and very well. Morning run in fresh countryside air was wonderful.

“Nothing could be better. The best place!”
It was the best accomodation on our trip through France. The owner were so nice and so helpful. We cannot have anything more. We have to come back again. The accomodation is an old farmhouse and it is renovated in a very classical and elegant style. The soul of the place is incredible.

“A perfect stay!!!”
Beautiful off the beaten track location but close enough to some lovely towns like Beaune. Wonderful hosts who truly went over and above to make us feel welcome. Very comfortable, immaculately clean luxury room with huge super comfy and enormous, double bed. Superb dinner (cooked by Sheena) in the evening with wonderful wine from John who were both so kind in catering so wonderfully for my wife who is coeliac and gluten intolerant. Thank you again! Will definitely return and highly recommended to anyone looking to stay in the area for a few nights. Fabulous breakfast served overlooking the pool and gardens too!

“Peaceful haven of luxury with delicious food”
We loved our stay at Domaine de l’Oiseau. It is a beautiful and peaceful setting in nature. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable. The swimming pool was an inviting relief from the warmth, and dinner was an experience not to be missed; amazing attention to detail. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. Hosts, Sheena and John, were most welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.

“We had a marvelous time. It was a fantastic stop off to get over jet lag and have a wonderful sleep.”
We traveled from Paris to Lyon and surrounding towns on our way to drop kids at overnight camp. We stayed two nights. The property is beautiful and very well kept. The food was excellent! I would suggest dining there at least once on your stay. Both owners speak English. I highly recommend contacting the owners before you book. There are great advantages to this. We stayed with our 11 year old twins. They enjoyed breakfast and dinner very much. The pool was fantastic and the kids had a great time swimming and pushing each other in. Call before you book - even if you are booking last minute. Enjoy your stay!!

Excellent breakfast. Home made preserves - eggs bacon all cooked to perfection by John. Beautifully appointed room,spotlessly clean & spacious. Evening meal Masterchef standard & Johns knowledge of wine ensured we had the perfect accompaniment.
