I had a very frustrating experience at the B&B hotel in Gera. The hotel requires guests arriving after 10 PM to enter their room code on a screen at the entrance to get inside. Unfortunately, the system was not working when I arrived. I spent about 20 minutes trying to enter my code, even trying different variations, but nothing worked. I then tried calling the reception several times, but no one answered. I ended up stuck outside the hotel for around 30 minutes hoping that someone would come by and open the door. In the end, I was only able to get inside because another hotel guest happened to come out and let me in. This situation was extremely unprofessional, and if no one had come out, I might have been forced to stay outside all night. Very disappointing experience.

The hotel is in a good location and not difficult to get to, there is no human reception during the night hours, only self check in and you have to be very careful and pay attention, I couldn’t call the number provided as I have a UK number and my plan did not allow that. Luckily a kind gentleman staying there was passing by helped with this very helpful and my room was very clean and cosy then after a good night’s sleep and all that jazz, I headed for breakfast and at the reception there was a young gentleman and a young lady and he asked me if I got in ok and all that and I explained that in it worked out in the end, helped me with a taxi to the station breakfast was very nice and I really felt looked after in this place. To the gentleman that helped me and the staff that staturday night/Sunday morning, I don’t know your names but if you are reading this you know who you are, thanks a million.

It was clean and the buffet was great! And the staff was nice, too.

Beautiful and healthy breakfast, clean and good size of the room and it is close to the city center which made it easier to navigate around.

Very decent for a one night stay. Comfortable, friendly, reasonable price, optional breakfast. A bit of a walk from the station, but perfectly manageable.

It was so cold, that I slept with clothes and 2 bed sheets and also found some hair on bed. Self check in system not working properly because it asks to pay when I already did and in the lobby there is no toilet (where driving for so long would be nice to use)

Lovely spacious room with very comfortable bed. Helpful, friendly staff. Plenty car parking. Excellent location near to lovely town centre - a really good spot..

No breakfast, the room was fine, minimum things in the room, very clean and looks like it was recently renovated. Good for a short stay, very close to the center (10 minutes walk or less).

The staff was extremely polite. The room was furnished with everything that one may need. It was clean.

No staff after 11, charged for 3 rooms but booked only 2. Write to customer service no answer. Computer freezes when pay and 3 payment go, no money return. Phone number not working after 9 pm if you have problems no one can help you.
