“Excellent relaxing and comfortable stay. Would stay there again”

Very quiet, private and comfortable. Didn't need to leave villa as it had barbecue and all entertainment facilities. Excellent hosting and nice presents given during the stay.

Perfect place to visit the west side of the island. House has everything you need. It is Very spacious. It has airconditioning in all the bedrooms and living room. It works perfectly. Swimming pool is also very nice. Jiannis and Maria were waiting for us, they had some fruit, snacks and drinks for us. They also gave us a list of suggestions of places to visit and nice tavernas for authentic Greek food. You can park the car inside the property safely. There is a huge garden with different areas to sit, beach towels and sunbeds. Supermarkets are very close by, you can go walking easily. There are Also many souvenir shops, rental car places, tavernas and excursions stands. There is a train that brings you to the lake nearby. We Really enjoyed our stay at Christianna House and if we ever visit Crete again we will come back to Christianna house without any doubt.

The owners: The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet in your life. Not only did they leave snacks and drinks in the house for our arrival, but they made sure to be present and personally tend to any concerns or problems we might have. They answered all our questions, provided great advice for things to see near the house and were just generally extremely helpful, despite going through a hard time due to personal reasons. There were some internet issues (not caused by the owners but by the internet service provider) and Jiannis and Maria did everything in their power to help us fix it, and when that didn't work provided us with an unlimited data card so that we could still use the internet normally. On several occasions we just sat and had a drink with them because they are such pleasant people. Some of the owner's family live adjacent to the property, and they will tend to the plants in the garden and such without being intrusive. They also helped us out when we locked ourselves out of the property once :-) The house: The house is very spacious with high ceilings and a large living room. There's a cozy corner to sit with a fireplace (we didn't use it since it was summer), but there's a lot of other little corners to sit and do something else too, including a bar by the open plan kitchen, which has all the basics excluding a dishwasher but including a washing machine. The master bedroom is huge and has a lot of storage space in a giant wardrobe and other cabinets, plus spare blankets in case you get cold. The other two bedrooms are much smaller with less storage, but still decent. The garden is great, with many spots to sit so you can always find a nice spot in the sun or shade. The pool isn't huge but great to cool down in when it's hot. The bathroom is small and odd with two toilets, but functional.
