It was the best experience we had in Greece! George is an incredible host, ready to help you with everything you need and a guy I'd love to have a beer with next time we'll come back. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and the closest city (Georgeopolis) is a 6 minute drive. There are many good restaurants nearby, a supermarket, shops, car rental places, bus stations etc. Back to the accommodation, there is a free parking for the guests and the rooms have very well functionating ACs. For us, there was everything we needed. George gave us a complementary wine and water at our arrival, which we enjoyed on the huge terrace of the apartment. The kitchenette is well equipped, tha fridge is big and the bathroom also very big. The hot water was not working one night so George came in the middle of the night, turned the electronic water heater and the next day solved the problem with a plumber - so don't worry about anything going wrong as he'll take care immediately. Maybe you'll find this review long, but I want to assure anyone considering staying here that it is the perfect location. If you have a rental car, almost any main attraction of the island is less than 2h drive. The accommodation is ideal, we've travelled to many countries and stayed at luxurious hotels in some cases but George's service is top notch! Thank you, man, and keep the beer cold for next year when we'll come back!

“Wonderful holiday at Argiri Apartments & Suites”

I've just had a wonderful 10 days staying at Argiri Apts and Suites. I travelled alone and stayed in a very large studio apartment. The accommodation is ideally situated, very close to a large supermarket and restaurants etc yet located in a very quiet extremely well maintained complex. I'm a light sleeper so this was important. The extremely comfortable kingsize bed ensured I slept like a baby! The apartment has cooking facilities, a terrace, garden and a huge bathroom. The owner George is an absolute gentleman. His hospitality is second to none. He takes a real interest in ensuring that his guests are well looked after. From my first communication with him until my departure, he couldn't do enough. Cindy is the young woman who takes care of the spotlessly clean accommodation with such professionalism and with real attention to detail. Her lovely, gentle, personality and kindness was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Argiri Apartments and Suites to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of townlife. PS Lots of nightlife too for those who like to party and watersports are also available at the nearby beach. I walked along the beach to visit Georgiouopoli village a couple of times while there (30-45 mins) and took other day trips to Kournas Lake (peddleboating was great here) and Rethymno harbour and old town. Another highlight for me was jetskiing (for the first time ever) on the local beach at Kavros!

George was there to meet us and there if we needed anything. He was also there to say goodbye. Our room was much bigger than we thought. There was everything we needed if we wanted to cook and immaculate. The balcony at the back was really large with lovely Mountain View’s and we had a terrace at the front with a table and chairs. The location is great. A large supermarket at the end of the road.

This place is exceptional. Everything is new and clean. Large rooms, new furniture and appliances, very good air conditioning. Very good cleaning is provided every day (Vera is extremely helpful and can also help with laundry). This place is also very quiet and sleep quality is very good. Big road is not far (150-200 m), but you cannot see or hear it from the property. George is super welcoming and helpful. We got a bottle of very good local white wine and a sweet melon on our arrival and souvenirs on our departure. George also recommended a fantastic place for the famous antikristo meat. There is private parking, excellent free wi-fi. Beach is 5 mins walk, lake Kournas is 3 km away (5 mins drive or 30 mins walk).

Staff was super friendly any helpful. Facilities were clean with more than enough space for our two children.

The apartment and grounds were delightful. We were disappointed by the vîllage and the necessity to cross the busy principal road of the island to approach the beach. We did not risk this but used the underpass. This added several hundred metres to the walk.

We enjoyed every minute. Our studio had beautiful view to the mountains which we enjoyed from the specious terrace. Very big and comfortable box spring bed. the whole apartment was very clean and functional. Quite yet central location with restaurants, shops, beautiful long and sandy beach just walking distance away. Central location on the island make it also a great starting point for sightseeing trips. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We loved it!

A very well situated appartement with a lovely mountain view . Quite and relaxing environment. Modern interior decoration. Exceptionally clean, towels and bed linen changed very frequently. Located right next to a good selection of Cretan tavernas, bars and a well supplied supermarket. Bus stops at a few hundred meters. The perfect accommodation for anyone using bus services as I did or rental cars as parking easy in the street . The long sandy beach is just across the main road .
