We enjoyed our 11-night stay at the Windjammer and would definitely stay again. This is a small establishment with a laid back local vibe. The service is friendly, personalized and responsive. Charles made sure we had everything we needed. He was personable and always took time to chat no matter what else he was doing (We must mention that he was always impeccably well dressed!) Michelle provided vegan breakfasts for us, including bake, bigan choka, roti, channa, black eye peas, okro and bok choy, which was in addition to the other standard breakfast items like eggs and toast. Lucy made sure we had anything we needed in the room. The hotel has a nice pool and deck for lounging in the evenings, and a bar though not always stocked. Our third floor room was spacious and bright, with kettle, microwave and fridge. It had a small but lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel has 24 hr security and will arrange for airport transport for an additional cost. The location was ideal for us, a 5-10 minute taxi ride to downtown and to the seawall. There’s a taxi company, Reliable Taxi, just next door. Overall this is a nice option in Kitty that we can happily recommend.

The staff were amazing considering the poor condition of the property. Perhaps the owners/proprietors can have some respect for the facility. At least DO SOME BASIC MAINTENANCE. I am making an exception by responding to your request for my opinion. THE OWNERS/PROPRIETORS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THAT PROPERTY.

“Relaxing stay in Georgetown, Guyana”

Where do I begin??? The entire booking process was easy and Charles facilitated the logistics of airport pickup and drop off seamlessly. An accommodating front desk staff and Ms Mary is an angel with the delicious breakfasts and poolside drink service. The facilities were as advertised which is always appreciated and the hotel is located within walking distance of markets, pharmacies and local food shops

The berakfast was 1st too late and 2nd not suitable. It was too common. The bathroom window could not be closed and there was dust all over the microwave and fridge. The bed sheets need replacing as they rust and bleached patches. We were given 1 room that was evidently not cleaned after use with hair and dirt all over the bed and old furniture. We had to be relocated after objecting.

The hotel is located in Georgetown close to everything. The staff were quite friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was ok ..need more variety..dinner was great. Had some in laws visited but weren't able to entertained as I wasn't aware of a fee to utilize pool..should consider reopening bar at the pool.

It was great. Michelle and Charles sure that I get my meals as a vegetarian 😋. And laughter 😃 Ps and the kitchen staff.

Charles at The front desk was very helpful. The place has a taxi Office next door. Very convenience place to stay. Near everything You need.

Very good staff and amazing breakfast. A bit expensive for what it is offered though. The staff were helpful and polite.

Look this is not a 4 staff hotel. It's clean and works in this developing city. Staff are fantastic and any issues, talk to them. I had no need as everything was a bit basic but satisfactory. I've staying in amazing hotels around the world but this is is a proud developing country.
