Though our booking was confirmed, when we landed to Georgetown, we were told by the hotel that they are fully booked, and refused to give the address to our taxi. We were left with nowhere to stay, owner Mr Smith had no duty of care! Never had such a bad experience! Maya (London)

Eggs exceptionally good, Claudia is a great cook. House iinterior is well design. Terrace and back patio airy. Elvis help with the money exchange and he has travelling contacts. Safe place to stay.

The house itself is cosy. The breakfast they provide is very nice and you can always have fresh water and coffee available .

The hosts are really helpful and very nice. It is so important to be able to get some help and tips, when you are travelling. What I really liked, was the breakfast, where all guests have the opportunity to meet. All of us really connected well and we had a fabulous old years eve together.

There is no other way unfortunately to book fair price and also conditions..this is Guyana..you need to compromise a lot. All are under expectations . Agains all, there is sti a respect and approach from owners.

“Comfortable, good value stay”

I found the place comfortable, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith were terrific hosts. I stayed a week. The bed was comfy, and the A/C was great. The shower had strong pressure, and the water was at a good temperature. I enjoyed the morning breakfast. Breakfast is served around 7 am, which is good if you want to start your day early. On some nights when I stayed out late, I let them know I was skipping breakfast and picked up something at the street vendor on the corner.

Really cosy, cute guesthouse. I was so happy with how welcoming the hosts were, made me feel right at home. Location is a bit out of the town, but was easy to get a taxi back to my accommodation. Its also next to a supermarket which is very convenient.

The hosts are very helpful and kind persons. The room is nearby hosts room, and you feel like being a family member.

“Good, comfortable and hospitalble”

You live along with the family sharing their apartment. Elvis, Claudia and their son. They have three rooms for homestayers in the upper floor/apartment. In the bottom floor there is the B&B. They are very kind answering questions and can help you organize things. I even got a ride downtown while driving the kid to school. Otherwise you are dependant of the buses that stop nearby to get downtown. There is a local chinese takeaway and supermakret just around the corner.  My room was clean and the shower were really good. I enjoyed my stay.

Mr. Smith and his wife welcomed me very friendly after my long journey from Suriname. Mr. Smith helped me to order a taxi to get to the atm because I did not chose to contact him in advance to make a pre-payment. After the driver overcharged me, he immediately called the company's boss to make sure I would get the overcharged amount back (which worked just fine). The rooms were very clean and there was a/c working. Also the shower and toilet were clean and they hand out towels in case needed. WiFi is fast enough to stream movies or sports. The breakfast is an English breakfast including eggs, toast and sausages and Ms. Smith prepared it every morning at whatever time I woke up. Mr. Smith also offers airport transfers for a reasonable price. The communication with them was great, they were very loblvely and helpful, also for tours and information, and I really enjoyed my stay at their guest house. Thank you very much!

The room was in a cozy environment and the beds were comfortable. I felt that the whole place exuded a welcome to an open embrace.

Very friendly family, Elvis and Claudia have a great hospitality and make you feel at home. Elvis dropped me off at the airport twice, gave me tips to get around, and even shared a beer and cake on his birthday. 100% recommend if you want to explore the local culture.
