Upon check-in at the property, we found that it operates on a self-service basis with no on-site staff, and communication was handled remotely via WhatsApp and http://Booking.com messages with CCTV monitoring. As this was a partial room with an attached toilet and we had concerns about privacy and on-site support, my companion and I felt it wasn’t the right fit for us and decided to check out shortly after arrival.

Nice little room with all you need. Toilet and shower seperated. Short walk to all place to be's in oldtown.

I don’t recommend staying there! Firstly we had to stay in a different room for the first night since the hotel messed up our reservations. The room was tiny, had two single beds, smelled bad and had no properly working AC. Before going to bed we realized that the ceiling of that room was covered in MOLD and also the furniture had mold on it. Since it was 1 am we had to stay the night there. The next morning we contacted the owner (that was only possible via booking.com) that the room had mold everywhere and asked for a refund for the night. Instead of apologizing to us he didn’t believe us and asked for proof pictures! We had to discuss everything via chat which took the whole morning until he finally agreed on giving us a refund for the night. We never got any apology. Black mold is a serious health hazard - absolutely unacceptable. We were wondering how the place got so many good reviews on booking.com, especially after we read all lot of bad reviews on Google Maps - well, there was a sign in the hotel offering cash discount if you leave a good review.

Family room was big and air con worked well, but there was no fridge. We had a kettle, but no cups or tea/coffee provided. There was really nice cafe across the road, which helped:)

It locates at the heritage region, within walking distance of distance to many tourism attractions. The room is spacious for three people. Many restaurants and buses around.

We recently stayed at the Stewart Hotel and were impressed with our experience. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the main attractions in Georgetown making it an ideal base for exploring the city-close to Little India and the city’s street food scene. The room we stayed in was spacious enough, with some extra beds provided, the hotel building is in a local style so we felt more connected to the local culture. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

Area is good, and you can't hear a mosque call to prayer, which for me is a big plus, but also right near the Chulia St scene, so that's a plus TV had only you tube, but it worked OK. Kitchen of sorts downstairs but not in room. Bed was comfortable Quiet and peaceful
