Very clean and friendly environment

It’s a beautiful traditional building, very nicely decorated. The dorms are the most spacious I’ve ever seen. It’s close to everything but also quiet at night. There’s a kitchen, bicycles free to use and free use of the washing machine. Most importantly, the cats are adorable.

“Great stay in Georgetown”

Super nice place to stay, good location, comfortable rooms and clean property. The owner May and the cleaner have been very helpful with anything I needed regarding my stay. The cats are very lovely and friendly. Free laundry is a big plus, especially with air drying.

The location was good. It has all the facilities in the accommodation, Aircon is strong, and I have books to read if needed. It has free pedal bikes to use and laundry. There are cute cats (9 of them), the owner replied back in an adequate time.

Best stay ever! Very cute and well kept cats, cute rooms, well working AC. I wish I could have stayed more! I was afraid of the lack of soundproofing first, but with an earplug I slept the best here amongst all my Malaysian accommodations! Other guests are attentive and really do not bother others. Cleanliness is also perfect. Such a cute place 💕💕💕

We alsolutely loved everything about our stay! May was an incredibly kind and responsive host, always available to help. The location was excellent and the accommodation had great conditions throughout our stay. We also loved the feline companion! It added a special touch to the experience. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

“Convenient Location for solo traveler & cat lovers”

This is a place for cat lovers. The cats are super cute and friendly. A room with individual air conditioning and light switch provides privacy and has enough space to store a small suitcase. Generally clean and comfy. The location is very convenient. The popular tourist spots and night markets are at walkable distance. If you want to go to the northern part of the island you can always go to Komtar terminal for a bus which is about 10 min walk from the guesthouse. Like the vibe and decorations of the old days.

“Great little find”

This was a great little find, the location is great, we were able to walk to most places. The room was sweet and clean. It is quite loud from the street side at night but that is as described when booking. If you don’t like cats, this is probably not the place for you. The host, May is very responsive

Really pretty and interesting place and in such an amazing location. My room and bed was clean and comfortable and there was aircon. Bathroom was really clean with hot water.

“Cute cat place in great location”

Very cute place with helpful staff. It was nice to have at least a little closet, which is not a standard thing in Malaysia (we could use a bit more storage spaces though ;)) in this price range. The location was also great.

“This is cat lovers house, do not stay here if you don't like cats,”

This accommodation is perfect for cat lovers. It has a very typical Penang guesthouse layout, with shared bathrooms and some rooms offering private bathrooms. Everything was very well organised, and communication with the owners and the housekeeper was excellent. There were nine cats in total (I believer there are more to come), all with lovely personalities, and some of them were keen to spend time in our rooms. We booked two rooms — one for us and one for our teenage son — and he ended up sharing his room with two cats, keeping each other company all night. I was initially worried about fleas as I’m quite badly allergic, but the cats were clearly well treated and I didn’t see any fleas at all. There is also a shared kitchen where you can prepare simple meals and breakfast. We'd love to come back again.

If you love cats - this is your place!!! Such a lovely stay. Good ac, lovely shared wc and shower - really no problem- always clean and close by. Amazing location, even bikes to use. The best value I could imagine in this place and such cute service. No staff but cats will greet you always :) Easy self check in.

The location is ideal and the property is clean and homely. It was really good to be able to use the washing machine and dry clothes outside, and there is facilities to make a tea or coffee in the morning. The cats were all super friendly and cute!
