“Nice people and hotel, check dining options.”
It’s very well located and the receptionist (Yvonne I think) was lovely. The bottle of complimentary wine was a thoughtful touch (the hotel is surrounded by scaffolding at the moment) and the wine itself was gorgeous. Good breakfast.

The room was very nice and very clean too. The hotel itself is very nice too and breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant were excellent.

“Comfortable hotel in beautiful location”
Really nice hotel on the outskirts of the lovely town of Gengenbach. The views from the hotel are beautiful. Room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - best scrambled eggs ever! I don't know what the restaurant is like as we were there Tuesday and Wednesday and that's the days it's closed. Not to far to walk to town centre.

“We had a very pleasant and wonderful few days at the hotel”
Hotel was located very quite and walking distance from the main town. There are a lot of beautiful hiking trails behind the hotel which we used during our stay. The breakfast service was a high standard and staff were very friendly.

“Great gateway to the Black Forest”
Located in a beautiful area with easy access to both the Black Forest and the cities, the town is beautiful too. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed breakfast as well as cold cuts and salads in our balcony with wine from the property. The views were also a plus.

“A very nice hotel in a great location”
We found this a very nice hotel in a quiet location with plenty of on site parking. It is only a 15 minute walk to the old town. We enjoyed a great breakfast. The receptionist was very friendly and went out of her way to assist us

Friendly staff, lovely room, great breakfast. Herr Huber kindly gave us a lift to the train station when we were leaving as it was raining. It is a good walk 15m walk from the town, some of it uphill. We didn’t mind this and enjoyed the walk but you may want to check this.
