“wonderful few days relaxing and walking in the woods”
We were in appartment "Heuduft" and that was an extremely comfortable and spacious appartment with two big bedrooms. Ronald has thought of everything: from bed linnen to (tea) towels and from toilet rolls to hand and dishwashing soap. There even is a washing machine! Besides an old-fashioned drip coffee machine, there is a modern Tchibo espresso machine. Be aware: you have to buy special Tchibo pods for different versions of coffee, else the machine doesnt function or will break down. So check which coffee you prefer and buy the right pods (local Edeka shop has them) but then you've got a wonderful espresso, lungo or capuchino to start the day on your balcony :-) The location is amazing: you just cross the road and walk into the Black Forrest with many circular walks in the area and also a couple of long-distance trails at your doorstep. I will definitely be back with my hiking boots! The town of Gengenbach is a quaint local town with lots of historic Schwarzwald buildings. We will definitely be back.

Superb location, knowledgeable host, kindly booked us a table at a local restaurant where the food was incredible. This top floor apartment was well equipped, although it did come with quite a hefty price tag. Despite several reminders, we constantly bumped our heads on the low ceiling when leaving the property, which always gave us a laugh we will most probably return here although it would've been nice if there was a garage or shelter for our motorbikes as they were a little wet the following morning with the dew. The host promised to ride out with us if we return and show us the areas best bits. If his restaurant recommendation is anything to go by, this is a must we will, therefore, most probably return next year for a longer stay and enjoy all the area has to offer.

Amazing location in the woods, 5min driving from Gengenbach. spectacular design and furniture. The house is big, warm, and has every detail you can imagine
