“Worth staying for the beach front view”

The place is beautiful and the having an awesome view through the door to the beach side. Inside decor is stylish and have all the facilities you might need to use.

The room and the facilities are good

Could start listing the things we did like in the villa and our stay in it, but more convenient to say that everything was amazing. Villa is located in peaceful, quiet area with an unbelievable garden and beach. Very clean and stylish, has everything that is needed, making stay much comfortable and pleasant. Everyone being so supportive and responsive (thank you so much, Adrian and the team!) Wish to go back!

“Amazing hotel and staff.”

Stayed 3 nights at the funny lion and had an amazing experience. The staff was lovely and always happy to help, they booked everything we needed which made our stay even more enjoyable. The private beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen in my life. Val and Vincent were super friendly and we want to recognise their professionalism!

“Stunning villa in Shirgao on a quiet beach”

A stunning villa, tastefully designed, includes a tiny kitchenette for preparing small meals, away from the mess in General Luna, located in Santa Fe on a white and quiet beach. The driveway is dirt and not paved, so you have to take into account that it will be difficult for tuktuks to enter and they will drop you off on the road, a 3 minute walk is not bad at all.

The villa was finished to a high standard, and the beach at the end of the garden is a must see. Adrian was a fantastic host.

“Perfect villa and staff, but a bit inconvenient to get to”

The environment was really beautiful and the villa itself was really comfortable and a treat to be in. The views of the beach directly from the room where fantastic. All staff was very attentive and accommodating.

This is a beautiful property, and our host was brilliant, anything we needed was arranged without any fuss, it is in a private and secluded area, and yet close to the town which has many fine restaurants, the access road into the property is definitely an adventure, especially on a scooter, but overall we loved every minute of our stay.

“Paradise villa where we never wanted to leave”

The villa was excellent. Everything was more than fine, down to the last detail. What a friendly host, really nice to stay here. Beautiful bathroom, nice shower, wonderful bed where you can also watch Netflix (handy if you are still in the rainy season) beautiful sunset, nice place to learn how to surf, relax in peace and yet only 15 minutes from the crowds in General Luna. By the way, it was the best place to get engaged ;) We will never forget this magical place and the nice gift we received from the host!

If you are looking for an exceptional, quiet place to stay, then this is where you should go! The villa was truely amazing! So many nice, small details (wooden doors, nice scent, so much space, loved the two showers inside and outside and the bathroom in general with all the plants, and much more), and a very comfortable bed. The view is breathtaking and the beach is certainly one of the nicest ones on the whole island - almost just for yourself! We even had a surfing lesson with the onsite house manager Adrian, starting right in front of the house! We have in the meantime looked for other similar hotels or places on the Philippines and couldn't find anything comparable with this price. We also got good support before arriving on the island on how to get to the villa. Although the path from the main road to the villa (about 300 metres) can get very wet with puddles, we managed to drive there by ourselves with a scooter which we rented in the city centre. Adrian and Angel would have also helped to organise a car to drive us to the villa if we didn't want to drive a scooter ourselves. A scooter is also very good to get around the island, as in the small town where the villa is close by doesn't have as many restaurants to offer as the main place for tourists (general luna). But again, nothing negative here, just depends on what you actually look for. All in all, we highly recommend staying here!

The villa is amazing with the most beautiful view to wake up to! Very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, a flatscreen with Netflix… Everything you can dream of! The host is also very communicative and he was always around asking if we needed something :)
