At the gates of the Pyrenees national park, the Logis Hotel de la Brèche de Roland is an ancient 18th century house, situated in the heart of the village Gèdre at an altitude of 1000 metres. Great location for access to Gavarnie. Excellent food in the restaurant. Fantastic views. Good breakfast. Easy parking. Peaceful. Nice small village with a bar and a shop.

The staff of the hotel was really friendly! The breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel was very very nice! The morning of our departure we had to leave early and we could get a coffee and baguette etc. before the actual breakfast opened, fantastic!

The hotel is spacious and beautifully decorated. The bedroom was also spacious and well equipped. Most of all, the owners and staff were very kind and professional. The food was exquisite, creative, and made good use of local products.

“Comfortable and quiet accommodation”
The room and bathroom were very modern and the beds were really comfortable. It was very quiet, there was plenty of parking spaces for the car, and the hotel is close to the main spots of interest in the area. The place also features a nice restaurant with good food and service.

The dinner was amazing! Don’t miss it and it is in a wonderful location and the village is beautiful. The hotel is really comfortable and well-managed. The staff is wonderful and multilingual. Our room was excellent!

“I would describe this hotel as ‘old style’ with an excellent restaurant.”
Its location is great for exploring the French Pyrenees. The room was comfortable. The car park large enough for our motor home. The restaurant was excellent and we had a good choice for breakfast.

Excellent food - breakfast was substantial with some interesting additions to the standard buffet. Lucky to be there for Thursday night dinner when the chef used the big fireplace in the dining room as a grill. Staff were pleasant and efficient.
