An absolute gem! Our host was fantastic. We booked at 2300hrs and arrived 5 minutes later. Inspite of this our host greeted us warmly and showed us to our immaculately clean and comfortable room. We slept well (later than we intended), showered and went to breakfast. Once again we were warmly welcomed and our host went above and beyond ensuring that our 6 year old daughter had food that she liked. Our host was chatty and pleasant throughout and waved us off the driveway. We hope to return soon. Thank you.

The welcome was incredibly friendly - Monique is a cheerful, chatty, warm and welcoming host. The facilities were exceptional - a kitchen at your disposal if you want to cook. The room was extremely clean and comfortable as well as spacious. The surroundings are very rural but this adds to the charm. It is a most relaxing place, with the chickens, goats and other animals out in the field in front. All in all a very pleasant stopover- I was just sorry we couldn’t stay longer!

Amazing host, unique and cosy place, friendly atmosphere, great local produce...hens, rabbits, quails, and ofcourse super soft water in shower. It was so quiet it felt like we are in the middle of nowhere.. Best stay ever, although short. Come for many days - lots to do all around

“A wonderful escape from everything for families or couples”

That was a last minute reservation during our trip through France done just few hours earlier. Monique was really kind and gave us a ful support because we were late on arrival. We were traveling with kids and friends, and on arrival we had a warm welcome and a lot of info about whatever we need. We were hosted in two fantastic old-fashioned rooms and in the morning we had a wonderful, very varied breakfast with a lot of non-industrial local homemade delicacies. Iti is already a plan to get back there in few years when we will take our trip through France w/o kids ;-)

We really enjoyed our stay in La Parisiere. Monique and her husband were super nice with us and we really liked the breakfast with different homemade jams and other delicious food. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of space in our room. They have a big garden with playground for kids and some animals, perfect for kids!

Spacious room with very large bathroom. Comfy bed. Great shower. Nice to have a large communal sitting room/kitchen too. So quiet yet less than 5 mins from Gavray which is a lovely little town.

The buffet continental breakfast provided good choice of bread, home-made jams, etc. Fresh eggs available. Very comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. Comfortable communal lounge area with coffee/tea-making facilities, television, games, books, use of fridge, etc. Lovely host, friendly and helpful.
