“Stunning! Beautiful building, delicious breakfast, nearby restaurants, friendly and efficient staff, nearby (paid) park”
Stunning building! Nearby (paid) parking (booked via Pair app). We were given an upgrade because our reservation via Booking.com didn’t register on their system. The receptionist was professional and calm and went out of her way. Our room was absolutely fabulous with a lovely view. Breakfast was excellent!! In the evening their restaurant was closed (Sunday) so we had a fabulous evening in a nearby gastro pub run by a really friendly chap. We would go back in an instant!! Thank you for our special stay. We’ve driven in a classic car from UK via Norway, including the Arctic Circle. Parking and places to eat without having to drive there are important to us.

Very convenient location for the train station. Nice building with good facilities, comfortable and clean room, special mention for the great shower gel and toiletries. Breakfast had a good selection of food.

We booked this hotel because the Nordic Noir books series takes place in Gävle and the hotel plays a role in one of the books However we did not see any reference to the books in the hotel.

“Beautiful place with amazing breakfast”
Very beautiful hotel with the history, near to central station. Amazing breakfast with salmon served (very rare in Sweden). I will definitely come back, convenient location and pleasant stay.
