Overview
Set in the countryside, B&B Il Poggio di Gavi is 5 minutes’ drive from Gavi town centre. It boasts a furnished garden with BBQ facilities, an outdoor pool and a buffet breakfast. “Warm and welcoming family B&B in the rural heart of Gavi wine region”
Stunning location in the heart of wine country. Wonderfully welcoming family, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Home-cooked meals are an optional extra well worth paying for. Home-baked cakes for breakfast were a bonus. House is set within the vineyard on top of the hill with stunning views. The Poggio wine is delightful and their degustazione is an absolute must. You can also walk across the road to La Scolca for another wne tasting!

“Home away from home.”
Everything! Felt like I was staying with my family. Got to have family-style delicious meals for dinners while chatting with the family and learning about Italy, learned how to make wood oven pizza, focaccia, and fresh pasta, and shared some quality time watching Italian music show with them. I got to meet Nonna and on my last day there, she gifted me a hand-woven beanie! I also loved the fact that they had a cleaner coming frequently and not after you leave, so you don’t have to stay in a dirty space, especially if you’re staying longer (I was staying for a week and had my room cleaned multiple times). I learned about Gavi wine and the wine-making process. It was to my surprise that my favorite Gavi wine that I buy in NYC is a private label from their winery and the villa on the sticker is the villa I was staying in! Their wine is delicious and the views from the villa are serene. Now I will have to plan a visit during summer/ harvest season!

It’s a beautiful place , great food and wine, the host is very caring and nice , feels like home - in an excellent location/atmosphere. The rooms are comfy and clean suitable for two adults. The pool is amazing.

“Idyllic stay”
Beautiful location overlooking the vineyards of Gavi. Amazing sunsets & a very relaxed, rustic vibe. We were lucky to be able to eat there - a freshly prepared antipasti banquet & simple tomato pasta was delicious. Their own label wine superb. The room also had the best air conditioning we have experienced in Italy.
