Overview
Set in the hills of Monterotondo di Gavi, Albergo l'Ostelliere offers views of the surrounding vineyards and woods. It has free internet and stylishly furnished rooms in an 18th-century farmhouse. Rooms and suites at the Ostelliere are a combination of old and new, with both traditional and modern furniture. All rooms offer country views and LCD satellite TV, and some have a hydromassage bath or four-poster bed. La Gallina restaurant serves Piedmont cuisine and wine from the hotel’s winery, which also organises tours of the cellars and wine-tasting evenings. The Ostelliere Hotel has a large garden with a pool and picnic area. Guests can also relax in the Turkish bath or enjoy a workout in the gym. Genoa’s Cristoforo Colombo Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Ostelliere Albergo, along the A7 Autostrada Milano-Genova motorway. The Serravalle Outlet is 5 km away.

Top location in the middle of a vineyard, people were super accomodating and helpful. The cellar tour was spectacular and there is a lot of space to be alone and enjoy the landscape. The restaurant is exceptional.

I was impressed by the hotel staff – they were all so friendly, kind and welcoming. The hotel is nicely designed, and the rooms are spacious and very stylish. The restaurant offers fantastic local food, including local wines and truffles.

“Beautiful site and great service”
Wonderful place to go and be pampered. The staff is fantastic, from the front desk to barman Guido, Veronica who showed us the winery, Alfonso the maitre and the restaurant staff, all went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The building is stunning and the grounds very well kept. Furnishings are sustainable and robust, all wood, stone etc and no plastic. Everything used once is re-used.
