“A gem”
The super friendly staff. Excellent prices for drinks and food. Room was kept spotless clean, as were the downstairs areas. The location, just across the road from the beautiful beach. Seating area outside, facing the sea. Because of all these, we will be back again.

“Beyond our expectations, missing it/everyone there already!”
The location, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff was second to none. Right on the sea front with a lovely fine pebbled and sand beach- perfect for a quick swim without all the hassle of making a day of it. Since the paseo is white and pink marble and kept spotless, it is a good looking location too. The hostal itself is basic but very clean. Having stayed in three different rooms during our stay, we can attest to this. Fresh towels daily! The air conditioning varied from room to room but always worked and I am sure that that will come in handy in the hotter weather. Nothing was too much for the friendly staff who took no time to treat you like part of the family. The restaurant is open all day and the menu changes daily with authentic cuisine on over cooked like home-cooking. Particularly good are the gambas and the lentejas when on the menu. A good way to tell is also by the coffee and the cafe con leche was very good, as were the tostados con tomate. We can recommend the rooms with sea view if you don't mind hearing children play until 1am during the summer (didn't bother us- it's part of life) along with the crashing of waves. If not available or you prefer it quiet then a courtyard room is best. No view, but for that you can sit outside the restaurant or even across the road on a bench. Special mention must go to Carlos most often found on reception who speaks good English and our lovely curly-haired waitress with the big smile, who is one of the happiest and friendliest people you could hope to meet. They made our stay more than pleasant and we will come back!

“Fabulous”
Amazing staff, couldn't do enough to help. Unbeatable location, beachfront with bars and restaurants all around. The room, although basic had everything we needed including a great shower and at £50/night in peak season was great value. Highly recommended for anyone who is happy with a no frills, authentic Spanish stay
