The family-run Gästehaus Brigitte offers comfortable accommodation in the centre of Bavarian mountain resort Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout. All rooms at Gästehaus Brigitte include cable TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. There are also apartments available which have a separate bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine. The south-facing balcony overlooks St-Martin street and has a view of the mountains. The Bavarian countryside is ideal for hiking, cycling, and skiing, and the guest house offers storage space for skis. It is 5 km to the Zugspitze Mountain, the highest in Germany, and 20 km to the Austrian border. Within a 2-minute walk of the guest house there are several restaurants specialising in German and international cuisine. Gästehaus Brigitte is 800 metres from Garmisch-Partenkirchen Train Station, and a 15-minute drive from the A95 which connects to Munich.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. The location is great, the views from the balcony are breathtaking. The apartment has all necessary facilities and is very cosy. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

“Right location, perfect view”
The room was neat, tidy, and offered plenty of space for two people. The location is ideal, only a 15-minute walk from the train station and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Everything was great and perfectly matched the listing.

“Absolutely brilliant”
Such an easy walk from the train/bus station. Great Location. Despite being next to a road with traffic there was no issue with sounds from traffic or from other guests. My room had a private balcony with the most amazing view of the Zugspitze and surrounding mountains. Staff were so kind and helpful and not invasive at all. Facilities were great. Super cozy, very comfy and very clean. My room came equipped with small fridge, kettle, cups and spoons.

“A great place to stay”
The guest house was great. It was very spacious and comfortable and I love that there was a little kitchen so I could self cater, which I usually prefer when travelling solo. location only 1km from the station and very close to bus stops to travels to Eibsee or the Alpsitzbahn etc. I also had a lovely view from the balcony

“It was a lovely place to stay.”
It had everything we required for our 15 night stay. We liked particularly the open space of the two balconies and the help of a washing machine. It is near the centre of the Garmisch side of town. Everything is within easy walking distance. The beds are comfortable. The Proprietor is helpful and friendly. We celebrated a 70th birthday while there and Brigitte sent a card and present. A lovely, considerate gesture. Warmly appreciated. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend and shall hopefully return for future holidays when possible.

“Excellent location and spacious appartment!”
The appartement was quite spacious for 2 people it was very comfortable, the balcony is great to have breakfast outside while enjoying the mountains! The shower had very good pressure and was very clean.

Comfortable bed, room was always nice and warm and clean, excellent view on the balcony overlooking towards Zugspitze. 15 minute walk to the train station and supermarket, 10 minute walk from restaurants and activities.
