Overview
Located in the quiet Kaltunbrunn district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, this guest house offers large rooms and apartments with south-facing balconies and free Wi-Fi. It features a large garden surrounded by forests. Gästehaus Brandnerhof features typical Bavarian wall paintings and balconies with flower boxes. Rooms are decorated in a modern Alpine style, and include hand-made wooden furniture. Flat-screen TVs are provided. Breakfast is provided in Brandnerhof’s rustic breakfast room with traditional tiled stove. Guests can use this area as a lounge throughout the day. The adjacent Estergebirge Mountains are ideal for hiking and climbing. Cross-country ski tracks begin outside the front door in the winter, and the Brandnerhof offers storage space for ski equipment. The centre of Garmisch-Patenkirchen is a 10-minute drive away. Many nearby lakes are suitable for swimming and canoeing.

Very pleasant stay! We really liked the hotel’s location in Garmisch – peaceful, yet within easy reach of the town center. Our room on the second floor had a balcony, was clean and cozy. The bathroom was quite small, but everything was spotless and well-maintained. The whole place smelled fresh and clean, which we really appreciated. A special thanks to the receptionist – she was very kind, helpful, and gave us great tips about the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay just outside the busy center!

“Great staff, clean & tidy rooms, comfortable stay with an amazing view.”
The staff was super nice. They were really cooperative and helped us with excursions as well. The rooms were super clean, the view was amazing and the parking space was ample. Loved the location as well.

An excellent place to stay in Kaltenbrunn, which is just 15 mins away from Garmish Bahnhof by bus. A serene view with a brook running nearby was really soothing after a long day of travelling. The place is just near the bus stop as well.

Lovely location close to garmisch Partenkirchen and Mittenwald but very peaceful for those who like to visit the busier areas but want to get away from the crowds. The host was so friendly!
