“Very helpful and friendly host”

positive - incredibly beautiful place, clean air, silence, clean house, interior - “like in childhood at my grandmother’s”, everything is very nice, delicious Italian wine, which we recommend trying. The cleanliness of the house and the entire interior are highly appreciated by us negative - at the beginning there was a misunderstanding between us and the owners, which we settled (our house was cleaned 2 times within 12 days, which was written in the rules of stay), a very dangerous serpentine road 4.5 km long, for those who love extreme sports - amazing road!!! We grew up in a different area - we were afraid. We were unable to get into the restaurant and cannot evaluate the cuisine and service. The distance to infrastructure facilities indicated on the booking does not correspond to the real values.

The property is not deserving a 9.2 point rating at booking. The rating is misleading and I am really sorry, that relied on this rating, when choosing the vacation stay. A shower has poor pressure and is really inconvenient, if you have to wash kids. The property is located next to the restaurant owned by the hosts of the property. So every night up until 1:00 AM you literally hear everything, what is happening in the kitchen and the restaurant. The property does not have sufficient electricity supply. Therefore if washing machine is working, in order not to cause a black out, it is not advisable to switch on the TV and charge a phone. Needless to say that switching an A/C on if other power consuming items are on, is a big Taboo. Unfortunately, we found this rule out in a hard way. Namely, in the evening, when I tried to charge my phone, a blackout happened. Since we black outed also the restaurant, the host stormed into the property within few minutes and blamed us for using too much electricity. In general the biggest disappointment was the attitude of the hosts. During our stay it fluctuated between artificial kindness, arrogance and uncovered hostility. At some point the hostess told us, that she have had a bad experience with her previous guests, therefore she was unfriendly with us. I guess I understand her, but I am still puzzled, why this should be my problem? We have been traveling to Liguria for last 7 years and have never experienced so unfriendly hosts ever before. Would not recommend a place for anybody, who plans a longer stay.
