The location is in the old part of Gardanne with all its pluses - walking distance to restaurants and shops in the central part of the town. The number combination codes used to open and lock the doors are an excellent way to obviate the need for keys. The furniture is very functional - ideal for the size of the place. The view of the hilltop church really adds a romantic touch, as does the fact that the house across the street feels so close that you could almost shake hands with someone in the window there or inspect the artwork inside. Some might find it too close for comfort but I found it charming.

“Great for a couple for a few days, not suitable for four people or longer stays.”
We liked the short distance from the apartment to Marseille and Aix-en-Provence. Gardanne itself had a market on three days a week and most things we needed were available in the vicinity. The staff sent a message ahead of time, which puts us at ease on how to access the apartment ahead of arrival.

“Beautiful newly renovated apartment”
Nicely designed small apartment. New, nice and good quality furniture and equipment. Simple check-in process with lock box. Very good air conditioning. Big TV with YouTube, Chromecast (and probably Netflix, but didn't try)

“Simple but all you need”
It's simple but you have all you need. The staff are lovely and always reachable. The apartment is new and well arranged, very easy to use and also confortable.
