“Great stay at Benaco Hotel!”

Truly an amazing hotel! Great spot in Garda (very close to the lake shore and bus/ferry stops). Rooms are spacious and clean and the cleaning ladies do an amazing job every day. The hotel personnel is very welcoming and nice, we even were able to check in after 10 PM without issues. Breakfast selection is great (very tasty homemade cakes!) Last but not least, two extremely cute and polite dogs can sometimes be admired and petted next to the check-in desk ;)

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We are traveling with a child in a wheelchair, and the accessibility worked very well for us - there was enough space to move around the room easily. Everything was very clean and well organized. The breakfasts were very good, and the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. The kitchen is located just outside the room (right behind the wall, not inside the room itself), but it was very convenient and had everything necessary. There was a microwave, so we could easily warm up food for our child. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be happy to come back again. For guests traveling with pets: just a small tip from our experience - it’s a good idea to bring a small pet bed or blanket. The floors are tiled, so it can feel a bit cold for pets, and having their own comfortable place to sleep will make their stay much nicer.

The location was great being close to the lake front and the ferry port. The owners and all the staff were lovely and always available to help in any way possible. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice available. We made a very good choice when we chose to stay here and would love to return another time.

Difficult to fault our stay. Room was perfect size for 2 of us. I don’t think I have stayed in a cleaner hotel before! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The marina was just over the road with the perfect spot to watch the sun set. There’s no lift and parking at the hotel was €18

“A great hotel in a great location, with first class customer service”

This is about our fourth stay at this hotel and they are always consistent with the excellent service they provide. This time though they really excelled in the customer care provided. We had a nightmare journey with BA cancelling our flight which resulted in our losing a night at the hotel when we had to divert to Milan. We notified the Hotel and Mari our host helped with advice on late check in/options on travel amongst other things. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was comfortable and had tea/coffee making facilities and also a fridge. We had a balcony and could see glimpses of Lake Garda which was lovely to sit there in the evening before going out to dinner. Aside from the great service, the buffet breakfast was first rate with lots of options, and the lady who kept the buffet stocked up was lovely and friendly. The location of the hotel is great too. Close to all the restaurants and shops, and no more than a 10 minute walk to pick up the boats to take you to other locations on Lake Garda. The sister hotel opposite Hotel Benaco have a great restaurant and we ate there twice the food was that good, and an added bonus, is that we got a 10% discount as they were sister hotels. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we visit Lake Garda, for the warmth of the welcome and great service. We have friends, who have two small children who are looking to visit Lake Garda next spring and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to them.
