“Fabulous Stay with the Conte Family in Villa Raino”

A big positive was the family run atmosphere. It was almost like living in a home. The Conte family was always ready to help and made our stay very enjoyable.

Very nice place run by a (a bit chaotic, bur very sympathetic) family. Lovely swimming pool. Room was a bit quirky, but this added to the the overall 1950's vibe, which was funny.

The breakfast was very sweet. Children liked it very much. The owner has charisma. It was very nice. The environment seemed to have stopped in time and we really liked that. It was all slow and dreamy.

The location is in a valley which is so quiet and peaceful! Enjoyed breakfast and dinner there. The room was very spacious. Unfortunately we couldn't use the lovely pool due to the weather.

Stayed here for one with my husband. One of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. What a beautiful location. A major plus that the property has cats everywhere😻 nice pool with a beautiful view. Restaurant has authentic Sicilian food, everything was delicious. 10/10

“Definitely recommend a stay at Casale Villa Rainó.”

We stayed for two weeks in this charming old house, set in the most idyllic setting, surrounded by hills, rich in different hues of yellows and browns (this was in August - the height of Mediterranean summer), accompanied by the wonderful sound of nature, including the sound of sheep and goat bells as they wondered through the surrounding hills and fields. The rooms are very well maintained and super clean, with crisp white bedsheets and thick white, clean towels. This hotel is run by a wonderful and charming family who were the kindest and most helpful! Food was exceptionally prepared, offering you a taste of Sicilian cuisine! Service was wonderful and helpful. Evening dinners on the beautiful patio outside the entrance to the house, made everything even more special. It would be easier to come with your own transport as the climb up the hill to Via Nazzionale that then takes you to Gangi town is not for the faint hearted. However, our hosts were very kind to offer us rides on their way into town. The walk is in any case, well worth it, leaving you with a sense of "we did it!!" We would definitely recommend a stay at Villa Rainó.

The breakfast ( and evening meal) were delicious. Aldo and his family were lovely and very helpful. We really appreciated Carmello and Peira driving us into Gangi and picking up up, as it was too far to walk.

Old world quaintness, yesteryear grandness, gorgeous location, lovely terrace for early evening drinks with fantastic views from this rural and beautiful part of Sicily. Exceptional meals served, particularly the fixed menu dinner. Highly recommended.

“Relaxing stay with a stunning view”

Good facilities, nice swimming pool and terrace both with a view over the hills. Very quite and relaxing location. Amazing service, personnel always available and kind (they rearranged our to be able to fit a cot. Very much appreciated 😀)

Kind hospitality. AMAZING food and location. We stayed here whilst visiting family in Gangi. We had the most amazing family meal sat outside. The pool area is so peaceful and quiet. It's off the beaten track, very rustic and stunningly beautiful. Breakfast was amazing too. Aldo, Nina and their family can't do enough for you. It was our third visit here.
