“Gorgeous place to stay”

We loved everything about our stay here. Our host was very lovely and helped us with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, we were given so much food. We also had laundry done here and everything was returned to us in beautiful condition. We originally booked a room without air conditioning and we didn't realise, but we were offered the choice of upgrading to a new room which we gratefully accepted. La Pinchi is walking distance to restaurants, but I think the food they make is better, so it's worth dining in rather than going out. The location is great for visiting the Ambuluwawa Tower as well.

It was a pleasure to stay here, the breakfast was delicious and the room was neat and clean and was decorated with love. The host was welcoming and accommodating. We‘d happily stay here again :)

“A beautiful place with a warm host – we loved our stay!”

We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this accommodation! The entire place is designed with so much love and attention to detail – beautiful plants everywhere, cozy and private huts/rooms with their own little garden area, and a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was also very clean, which made us feel even more comfortable. We especially appreciated the mosquito screens in the bathroom – we didn’t have a single mosquito in our room! We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink, which made us feel at home right away. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast: incredibly diverse, fresh, and absolutely delicious. From sandwiches to a variety of curries, as well as sweet options like cake and coconut rotti – everything was prepared with so much care. The host is exceptionally kind, warm, and helpful. He took great care of us, helped organize drivers and excursions, and gave us very useful recommendations. During our stay, some areas (such as the pool and parts of the kitchen) were temporarily unavailable due to flooding. This was communicated openly and honestly, and it did not affect our stay at all. We truly admire the effort and dedication put into rebuilding everything. We felt completely at home and would definitely come back!

“Best stay in prettiest room!!!”

We were warmly welcomed with a drink and biscuits by the friendly host. The room was by far the prettiest we have spent the night in in all of Sri Lanka! A big bed with large mosquito net, nice cushions and a fleece blanket, many plants and atmosphere lamps, nice use of colours and even a mini private pool!! We felt at home straight away. The host also helped us with arranging early morning transport to Ambulawawa tower and someplace to have diner. We really appreciated all of it and would have loved to stay here a bit longer.

Interesting interior, good reakfast.

We spent the night in La Pinchi hotel to be close to the ambuluwawa tower. The price was very reasonable. The room is super cool with recycled wood, and some plants. the room was big, we had a small private patio where you can see the tower. Everything was clean, there's a fan on top of the bed and AC too, hot water working perfectly. The staff is super friendly and nice, we had a delicious dinner with generous quantities. The breakfast was delicious, I loved the egg sandwich. The owner is helpful, the communication was fluid even before arriving, and he helped us to visit the ambuluwawa tower, and gave us good advice whenever we asked.

Good located, it takes 15-20 minutes to get to Ambuluwawa tower in the morning by car. Host is nice, he met us with cookies and cold lime water! Breakfast was satisfying!

“A true gem in Gampola”

The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Communication before arrival and throughout our stay was excellent. He was always available whenever we needed anything. The room itself is amazing: very modern, beautifully designed, and filled with plants, very unique. In front of the room there’s a small private garden with a tiny pool. You can open the doors and step straight into the pool, which is such a nice touch. Unfortunately, the pool wasn’t in use during our stay due to the floods, but it’s definitely a fantastic addition to an already stunning room. And the breakfast… wow. We were honestly lost for words. There was plenty of food, a great variety, including local dishes and sandwiches. Hands down the best stay of our Sri Lanka trip so far. Highly recommended!

Very nice rooms with a unique design, we felt very comfortable! The owner was super friendly and helpful with many recommendations. The best was the breakfast - so mich tasty food on one table. We left well rested and with a full belly!

“Great location and good value for money”

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived with a beautiful local tea and cakes. The room is nice and comfortable and there is even a plunge pool right outside the room. Due to the recent flood, the pool wasn’t in action but would be a very nice feature for some relaxation after the day of exploration. The breakfast was big and delicious. The front of the accommodation is also a restaurant and it has the best rating bar in town as well. The owner is still in the process of recovering from the flood but he recons in another 2-3 months, it will be back and running and would be a great little social spot. The owner was really helpful and organised the tuk tuk driver for the tower tour.

We loved our stay at La Pinchi. The rooms are decorated very lovely with a lot of plants and selfmade stuff. It Made the room feel cosy. The owner of La Pinchi told us that the restaurant was closed because there was a lot of damage after the flood a couple of weeks a go. The whole family work really hard on fixing everything! We had the pleasure to taste the cooking skills and it was great! 🙏🏻 thanks for the nice stay and the lovely food. God bless you and your family.

“A beautiful, unique hotel created by a lovely person”

The hotel's owner, manager, and decorator, Dulip, has done an exceptional job creating something unique. I saw two rooms, and each was beautifully arranged. The patios with the Japanese-style cold-water bathtubs were just amazing—especially after a long, hot drive. The bed was super comfy, with pleasant sheets and pillows. The view is onto the patio, which is lovely. Water pressure from both showers (aha, surprise!) is excellent, and the AC works well. Dulip helped me out in a time of need, and I’m grateful. A brother could not have been kinder. Breakfast was a tasty curry with rice.
