This place was absolutely amazing! The owner was very welcoming and helpful in all aspects. I would recommend this 100% if you want to relax surrounded by nature and wildlife. There are many walking treks around the area and the restaurant and shop in town are 5 minutes walk away. The shop has everything you need and more and the restaurants food is really good and at very fair prices.

Location (for us it was to visit the Pipeline trail); the entire apartment was very clean and kitchen had what we needed to cook meals (we bought our groceries in Panama City before driving here); great wi-fi; hot water steady; very comfortable beds; the back porch is visited by many different birds in the morning, we also saw a capybara and a we think a "squirrel", not sure; communication with the owner was very efficient via messages; our flight was delayed over 4 hours and we arrived at 10 PM; the caretaker lady was kind enough to be up to let us in at this late hour; the Gamboa dock is close by to get rides to see the monkey island; you can see the ships crossing the river in the morning right from the bridge or along the road next to the canal; use Google translate if you are not comfortable with Spanish as was our case, no issues with communication. If we visit Gamboa again we will seek to stay here for sure.

Spacious kitchen living area and bedroom. Good lighting. Hosts invited us to enjoy the tamarin monkey visits and feeding in the garden. Beautiful backyard can be enjoyed by the patio. Well supplied kitchen.

Surrounded by greenery and with outdoor space, this apartment was perfect for our stay. It is simply furnished, with adequate wifi, and air-conditioning. There is a washing machine and dryer in the communal space outside which costs $6. If you love wildlife, we saw parrots and numerous other birds, agutis, iguanas, and even a group of tamarins

“Great apartment to explore Gamboa”

Nice apartment in Gamboa. Perfect for birdwatchers- back garden was full of birds, there are trails in town and it was a 40 minute walk to Pipeline Road. In Gamboa, there is a small store for basic groceries with attached restaurant as well as a pizza place with a lovely garden. The apartment was very comfortable-the bedroom had a king size bed and the living room had a fold out couch, kitchen was well-equipped to make meals, especially appreciated the coffee and milk for the first morning (also basics like dish soap, soap and salt).

Nice clean apartment, on the terrace you can see animals - agouti, which we could feed with fruit and nuts, we saw monkeys, iguana and lots of beautiful birds. The owner tries to accommodate with everything, there was no problem, highly recommended.

Very nice, spacious and comfortable apartment with great terrace and garden where I saw agoutis, an iguana, hummingbirds, toucans and many other birds and butterflies and there are tamarin monkeys in the tree.

love the location and the lovely garden. Really handy for the pipeline Road and access to all the wildlife in the Gamboa area. Highly recommended.

Big apartment with all the accessories you may need. It was spotless clean. There is big terrace with a views to wildlife - we spotted auguti, iguanas, various bird species... Kitchen has all amenities you may need. Location is quiet. Be aware that city/village has only one small shop and restaurant, so do some shopping before arrival. If you have car, it's the best starting point for some nice hiking areas and wildlife.
