The view is excellent, the room we stayed was on the top floor. Clean and very well located. Minimal staff but they respond well. Overall a decent experience. They packed us a breakfast as we had an early morning train.

The breakfast was amazing. Good mix of local options as well as English breakfast like mix cut fruit & coffee. The host, his mother & the caretaker was very nice & helpful. Even arranged us an early morning breakfast at 6am since we were leaving for a train.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Lovely location too. The breakfast was hearty! Well worth the money. Highly recommended.

“Peaceful guesthouse with amazing breakfast”

Lovely little guesthouse set in a peaceful part of the Galle fort, just opposite to a beautiful Buddhist temple and the ramparts. Our room was simple but comfortable with a very good bed, shower and air conditioning. The real highlight was the Sri Lankan breakfast. The best we had on our whole trip!

A great location in a traditional house. The room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony / terrace with sliding window to enjoy views of the neighbouring Buddhist temple, the fortifications and sunsets over the see. The owners were helpful and welcoming. We stayed two nights with an excellent breakfast the first morning and a small packed breakfast kindly prepared for us as we had an 8am taxi back to the airport.

Amazing breakfast, best of our trip. Very yummy and perfectly cooked egg hoppers. Perfect location right next to the fort wall and a street from Pedlar street. Very easy to see all of the area. Small guest house exactly as described and was exactly as we expected. Cosy, basic, clean and very comfortable. Air con was lovely and cold.

“A lovely room in a great part of town with a good view”

I loved the location - an easy walk around the old part of Galle and onto the fort wall to watch the sunset. My room had a balcony which was great for relaxing in (it was glassed in, but with windows you can open). The hosts were charming and very friendly and the breakfast delicious and plentiful!

Unbelievable value for money given location is in the fort but away from any noise. Beautiful clean bathroom and comfortable enough four post bed. One of the best hotel breakfasts in Sri Lanka. Staff very helpfully prepared a mini breakfast for us when we were leaving very early the next day.

The owners are lovely local Sri Lankans. Very kind and welcoming. Location is amazing, right in the centre so it’s easy to walk around. It’s also right in front of Buddhist temple. Room was very clean and comfortable. We slept so well - it was very peaceful. Breakfast was wonderful.

Excellent position, lovely antique style of the rooms and amazing breakfast! We definitely recommend this place to visit Galle and the nearby beaches!
