We very much enjoyed every minute of our stay. A very nice, welcoming and helpful family and great staff. The room was lovely and full of charm. Great shower ;-) The breakfast was in Indika's other location nearby. Excellent fresh fruit and drinks. We can only recommend to have dinner at Ginganga Lodge, very nice food and a absolutely wonderful setting with a pool.

We had a fantastic experience! The owner is not only incredibly welcoming but also an artist, and it shows in every detail of the room, which is thoughtfully designed and curated. We also visited another property owned by them, and it was just as amazing! We enjoyed all three meals here and spent our last days in Sri Lanka in the best possible way.

“A gem”

I stayed at Indika's Residence for three nights with my wife and our son. We all absolutely loved it and my wife thought that it was the best, most amazing, beautiful and most memorable place where we have ever stayed in Sri Lanka (and we've stayed in many places). The house and the rooms, not to mention the breakfast area, can better be described as pieces of art than a hotel. The owner is an artist and a passionate collector of antiques, and this is reflected in every single detail around the house, from bathroom decor and amenities to the beautifully served, delicious meals. In addition to the breathtaking beauty of Indika's Residence, the owners topped the experience with their exceptional hospitality and kindness. They made us feel like part of their family!

“Gem in Galle”

What a gem! This is a tastefully decorated house. Everything was well thought of. The highlight of the room is the huge outdoor bathroom. As you take a strong shower in the evening, the moon is smiling down. What an awesome experience! Indika was an excellent host, he helped us with our tuktuk, sent us to his other beautiful resort for breakfast and a swim in the beautiful pool. The breakfast was generous and the fresh passionfruit juice was a great start. I hope to return again in the future. Highly recommend this place if you are in Galle.

“Exceptional stay in a beautiful setting”

Best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. Warm hospitality by the hosts. Lovely decoration of the house and the room with antics. Exceptional breakfast at the Lodge. Access to the swimming pool. We had also dinners at the Lodge, it was excellent. Many thanks to have made our stay memorable!

“The best place in Sri Lanka”

Thank you very much to Indika's Residence for your hospitality! An incredibly beautiful house in the author's style.  Every corner of the house is a work of art. There are always fresh flowers in the house, delicious aromas and birdsong outside the window. This is the best option for living in Sri Lanka! We traveled with a small child of 1.5 years old. Every day we went for breakfast to the beautiful hotel of the owners - GingangaLodge. Breakfast as a separate art form, European menu and exotic fruits.We have lived in this place for 10 days and are ready to return here again. I recommend it!

“Home away from home!”

It looks exactly like in the pictures! Dineshi is super duper helpful and always available on text, her husband ferried us between their other hotel and home for breakfast. Their house is done up tastefully and they’re very warm, it’s like living with family. The day we arrived in Galle, it was pouring so we had wonderful dinner at their other hotel.

“Best place in Sri Lanka! Most beautiful decor and amazing people!”

We liked everything about this place! After 9 hotels in Sri Lanka this was our favorite! Indika is such a nice man, and has a lovely family! The house decor is stunning, the photos don't make justice to the beauty of this place! We also loved the fact that the breakfast is served in another Indika's property, even more beautiful 🥹 Also best breakfast in Sri lanka! It was a plus that we could enjoy the pool! Our room was super clean and we loved the big bathroom with open roof. Thank you so much for everything Indika, we hope to return one day 🤍

“Would definitely come back :)”

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay here. It’s the most gorgeous family, they are so warm, welcoming and sweet! The room is comfortable, our bathroom was not connected to the room but just across the floor. We slept so well in the bed! Fastest internet connection we had on or travels through Sri Lanka - in case you need it for work ;) Breakfast in their nearby hotel was lovely too. We would 1000% stay here again!!

“One of the best stays in Sri Lanka!”

Very clean and comfy room on the second floor with a private shower. The shower is outstanding, well decorated with an open roof. Amazing experience staying at Indika and Disneshi’s house! The family is very friendly and they are ready to help you with anything. The children are super cute and friendly :) They offered us to use the swimming pool in their hotel (Ginganga Lodge) that is located 5 min from the house. They even gave us a ride from and to the hotel. The room is clean and super comfortable. There is an A/C, a fan and fresh water (not in plastic bottles). The windows give to the forest view. I loved the design of the house, very eco friendly, with a lot of woods and concrete. And the breakfast was incredible. It was like in a 4 star hotel. I can say it was the best one that we had during our 3 weeks vacations. And in general it was one of the best stays in Sri Lanka for us!

Absolutely incredible!!! This is by far the best accommodation we stayed in Sri Lanka! Very nice hosts, super clean and pretty accommodation, delicious breakfast and the owners help you in every detail and whatever you need! They are doing excellent and amazing business since many many years but many amazing reviews have been deleted in the past due to corona, so please go there and you will definitely not regret it for one second! I can absolutely recommend this place and will be back for sure!
