“being one with the nature”

We stayed here only one night. The bed was very comfortable, place was clean. If you are outdoorsy person, you will definitely like this place. There is a gas cooker (on the porch)...we used it, it's good. there is also washing machine in the bathroom (we didn't use it). There is hot water. There was a fridge. Place is near the beach and the main road, but it's still tucked in the wood. unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we couldn't enjoy in the place more. There is mosquito net over the bed, very useful. They also gave us mosquito coils. One side is all in glass doors, so there's a nice view on the greenery outside. Two windows don't have glass, nor netting on it, only roller blinds..so you will definitely need something for mosquitoes. Our kid loved the place because it had hammock and a swing.

Nice and cosy 2 floor house. Big terrace. Small kitchen outside. Far from the street noise. Very good communication with owner. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We really liked the location and the garden full of different animals. Perfect experience.

“Perfect retreat”

Siva and Dula were so nice and helpful. The chalet was perfect, quiet, secluded but only five minutes walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. Beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom was good.

We loved our adventurous stay here! The balconies are wonderful and truly immersed in the jungle. While it is not a luxury stay i must stay that everything was clean: toilets, sinks, dishes, mosquito net plus we had a huge king size mattrass with sparkling white bedsheets and soft towels so honestly the place exceeded our expectations. The caretaker couple are also a real gem, they showed us true Sri Lankan hospitality and helped us cook, clean and babysit. Thank you again for everything

“Nice adventure in nature with some wildlife!”

Very nice location in the middle of nature (jungle-like) with a lot of animals (monkeys, peacocks, tons of birds) around. Good walking distance to the beach. Large windows allow you to always have a glance outside. Nicely built with a lot of wood. Private “kitchen” and washing mashine, nice outside shower.

Loved the place! Beautiful cabanas with exquisite bathrooms integrated with nature. Booked two cabanas for 5 people and it was great for everyone.

The location is good,, and the accommodation is like of cabin. The host was friendly and very helpful. The place itself is comfortable, equipped with fans, fridge and cozy beds. It features two floors with a balcony with a view to the forest. Overall, it offers great value for money.

The house is beautiful and our host Poorna was really helpful.

“Cozy Jungle Retreat Close to the Beach”

I had the pleasure of staying one night at Eco Villa Unawatuna and it was a truly memorable experience. Nestled amidst a lush palm garden, the little jungle hut with its outdoor kitchen provided the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Despite the rain, the ambiance was incredibly cozy, and the view of the palm garden was super beautiful. The villa's proximity to the beach was a major plus point, making it convenient to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf whenever desired. Additionally, having supermarkets and restaurants just around the corner. What truly stood out was the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the place, offering a much-needed respite from the hustle of the high season south of Sri Lanka. The beautiful architecture added to the overall charm of the villa . Overall, my stay at Eco Villa Unawatuna was nothing short of delightful, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway amidst nature. I, for one, am already looking forward to my next visit.

The place is near the beach and the main road. However, it's a very quiet place that looks like you're in the middle of the jungle. You get to "meet" monkeys, iguanas, squirrels, and lots of birds. The balcony was my favorite place to be. They have a fridge and an exterior kitchen with dishes and cutlery. The room cleaning lady comes every 3 days to clean the cottage and change bed sheets and towels.

Everything about this place is worth recommending, the beach is very close, sounds of the nature and being able to actually watch animals is the garden are very memorizing. Wonderful place for relax.

Eco Breeze is really wonderful! My family (wife and two small children) and I really enjoyed our stay in the middle of the jungle. The bathroom and kitchen are in the open and everything else is available that is necessary for daily needs. The bathroom is spacious and modern. Particularly noteworthy is the warm light color of the lamps. This is rather rare in Sri Lanka. The beds are big enough and comfortable. The environment with the peacock and monkey sounds is the absolute highlight! That especially in the evening in the jungle many mosquitoes are on the way, I think no one is surprised. The beach is about eight minutes walk away and beautiful. There is also shopping nearby. It is only about 12 minutes to Galle by tuk tuk. It was a really extraordinary stay. I hope we can come back again soon. Love to the host! :-)
