“Never again”
Do not take debit cards...went to instead a very nice hotel, just outside Galena. Very nice, Country Inn and Suites. Going to try Desoto House next time. They also take debit cards.

“Comfortable and clean hotel, fun pub is attached”
We have stayed here many times and always enjoy it. The property has recently been renovated and it looks very nice, fresh. The beds and the bedding are very comfortable and the rooms are always spotless. The breakfast is a hot buffet with plenty of food. The afternoon tea time with mini sandwiches is a nice touch. They provide a trolley to the downtown area (although we have not used it). It's nice to have the pub attached to the hotel, we usually get a drink and listen to the music. Very comfortable.

Perfect location, a shuttle service to the downtown area is also provided. This was our 2nd time staying here, and I’ll be back with a friend of mine.

Beautiful building in a stunning location. The staff is very friendly and professional. They have a wonderful Irish pub with excellent food and drinks. The spa on site offers very relaxing massages. I'd highly recommend this to anyone staying in Galena.
