“Modern, spacious villa with a warm pool, great views, and warm hosts”

The villa was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Kostas and Christina were helpful and friendly — they even brought us pies and a cake to celebrate our special occasion. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean and pleasantly warm. The villa and its small garden were lovely. Everything in the villa was modern, and the equipment — including a dishwasher and washing machine — was almost perfect. There was even a Bluetooth speaker, so you don’t need to pack your own. The location was peaceful, yet it was easy to reach Chania by bus. It’s about a 20–25 minute walk to the beach and to larger supermarkets. However, having a car is recommended, and there was always parking space next to the gate. The bedroom on the basement level is separate from the others and has its own toilet and shower. The room does have a window, but there is no view. On the entrance level, there is the living room, kitchen, and a toilet. The two bedrooms on the first floor share a bathroom and a balcony with beautiful views of the bay. The bedrooms on the second floor also share a bathroom and have nice views, though no balcony. The villa is full of charming details. Overall, it is definitely a five-star accommodation.

Fos Villa was a perfect home away from home! The house itself was beatiful, both the architechture and the design of the interior. We loved the garden amd everything was well planned and oozes quality and good taste. It was nice to have our own oasis to head back to after a busy day! The host, Kostas and his wife, was wonderful and generous. We got a lovely welcoming and they provided great recommendations. They made us feel right at home and we feel so lucky to have them as hosts. The house is located in the hills with a nice view. It's just around the corner from a bus stop and the taxis are cheap if you prefer to go by car. Just next to the the house there is a lovely greek taverna with good food and lovely staff. We loved our stay at Fos Villa and highly recommend it! I can"t imagine a better place to stay; both the house and the host was pefect!

We stayed in Fos Villa as a family of 10 (8 adults and 2 children) and had a lovely time! Kostas and family were really helpful from the point of booking, helping us with airport transfers and during our stay! The villa was perfect for us and was clean and furnished well with everything we needed. The heated pool was a good size and we loved the outdoor area, including the BBQ. There is a bus stop around the corner that costs around €2.50 and took 20mins to Chania town. Or you can walk around 15mins to the beachfront where theres a few nice restaurants and bars (recommend Nesaki for steak and wine!) Theres also a restaurant next door and few cafes/takeaways nearby. Highly recommend hiring a car and going to Ellifanisi beach and visiting Rethimno. Although I wouldnt drive to Chania as parking in was a nightmare so I would get the bus!

“Stunning Villa & Perfect Hosts!”

Our stay at fos villa was truly fantastic! The property itself is stunning and has been finished to such a high standard – every detail has clearly been thought out. The rooms were well equipped, spacious, modern designed, and everywhere was perfectly clean. The villa was only a short 20 miun bus ride or 10/15 min taxi into the Old Town, which had plenty of great restaurants and bars with lovely views over the water. There are also several beaches in walking distance, but the villa's pool and loungers were so great it was hard to escape from them! What really set this stay apart, though, were the hosts Kostas and Christina. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly welcoming and we were greeted with thoughtful treats and food on arrival (fresh pastries, water, tea, coffee pods etc.), which was such a lovely touch after a long journey. They even took the time to drive us to the local shop the next day and offered to help us with anything we needed during our time in Crete. They also provided so many great recommendations for food, drink and activities to do. Their kindness and attention to detail made everything extra special. It’s rare to find a place where both the accommodation and the hospitality are so outstanding, but this villa and its wonderful hosts exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway with hosts who can’t do enough for you, then this is the place! We can't reccomend it highly enough.

Absolutely everything! I had read the reviews and I can honestly say they were all spot on. The villa was beautiful, so well designed, quality furnishings, bedding and well equipped. Kostas was the best host I’ve ever had. He was there to greet us late at night after our delayed flight! There was a big bowl of fresh fruit, freshly baked cheese pastries, wine, milk, water and everything you’d need to start you off! Straight away he said he’d be back to take us to the supermarket in his car. He was there at 11am and not only did the take us to the supermarket he gave us a lovely tour of the area! He also gave us lot of tips and recommendations! I honestly could not rate him enough. The villa was in a good location, a cab drive to the main area of Chania, but walking distance to a beautiful old village with restaurants and shops. Also in the other direction ten minutes walk to a lovely beach. We really loved Fos Villa and would love to come back!!😎😎😎

“Beautiful modern villa, in close proximity to Chania Old Town”

I would not hesitate to recommend Fos Villa. We were a group of eight friends and the villa was perfect for our needs. Even though we didn’t arrive until late at night, we were personally welcomed by Kostas, who gave us a full tour of the villa. The villa was stocked with all the essentials – water, bread, eggs, milk, fruit etc., even fresh homemade Greek pastries! This was really helpful given the late time of our arrival. The villa was spotlessly clean and very modern, and the air conditioning was much appreciated given the high temperatures outside! The bedrooms were all good sizes and there was plenty of space for all of us. The outside area was lovely, with a really good sized pool, and we enjoyed many al-fresco lunches at the outdoor table. The location of the villa was good – only a short taxi ride into Chania Old Town, and you could also catch the bus from the bus stop just across the road from the villa. For evenings where you don’t want to go far, there is a local taverna just a couple of doors down from the villa, which serves really good quality, authentic Greek food. Kostas was a great host, providing lots of helpful recommendations, and he even brought us a beautiful chocolate cake towards the end of our stay. Overall, the villa made our holiday extra special, and I hope to be able to stay here again someday!

One of the best properties we ever stayed at, Fos Villa is great and the charming hosts - Kostas abd Christina - very welcoming. We were actually surprised to find the kitchen stocked with fresh bread, honey and marmelade, fruits and a bottle of local wine, eggs , snacks. Also cleaning materials and soap for the dishwasher and washing machine. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of towels. Tv game consoles and great internet connection. The hosts who live next door are very helpful with suggestions what to do in the area, where to eat etc and even surprised us with pies for dinner! The pool - heated - very clean and surrounded by meticulous gardening of which Kostas is justifiably proud. Christina's design solutions are impressive. If you're looking for a peaceful comfortable place with easy access to the town of Chania and the main road Fos Villa is very recommended. We had a great time. Much appreciation, Christina and Kostas!

Fos villa was one of the nicest villas I have ever been. Really good value for money! Everything is stylish, the owners are super nice, lot of space, very well equipped. I definitely recommend it.
