The villa is well-equipped and has everything you need – a stove, a dishwasher, and even an oven. Since we live in Northern Europe, being able to eat and spend our evenings outside is very important to us, so everything here was absolutely perfect. There is a wonderful outdoor dining area with a sea view for breakfast, and a rooftop terrace that is ideal for spending evenings with a glass of wine. The small pool is also a great place to cool off on a hot day. The location is really good if you want to explore the nearby towns. If you are looking for a sandy beach, it’s only about 25 km to the other side of the peninsula. There are two great restaurants just 200–300 meters from the villa, so dining is never an issue. If you prefer a quiet evening in, you can grab a takeaway pizza from Dedalo restaurant (they have a huge pizza oven! :) ) and enjoy it on the terrace with a glass of wine and a sea view. About 300 meters away, there is a trail leading to a grotto. The host recommended it to us, and the views are truly stunning (just make sure to wear proper shoes, as it gets quite rocky). You can also swim just 300–400 meters down from the villa, even without water shoes. Although there are signs prohibiting it, the locals swim there too :). The host was incredibly helpful and provided us with tons of useful information. A huge thank you to him for the frizante welcome drink and the local sweets he gifted us upon departure. Location of the Villa is perfect for visits of the cities in the area. The rooftop Terrasse with the pool is good for relaxing and enjoying the view of the Italian sea. We enjoyed a November week with possibility to swim in the open sea or walk along the coast at stable weather conditions. With all the information provided from the host we have spent a perfect week.

The house is clean, fresh and well equipped in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Beautiful garden with several seating areas and a fantastic roof terrace with spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea, a view as beautiful in sunshine as in rain and stormy weather. Walking distance to the beach and two nice restaurants. Cottage Vittoria is a perfect starting point for daily excursions to discover Salento with its fascinating and interesting history, culture and nature. A very positive surprise for us was the beautiful hiking trail to Il Ciolo via Grotto Cipolliane which started right next to the house. The travel party varied from 2-6 people. For 6 people the villa can feel somewhat small on a rainy day, in sunny weather this is not a problem thanks to the cozy patios. For 2 people it’s luxury✨ The host Donato and his father are excellent hosts, very helpful and service minded, they gave us many nice recommendations of good restaurants and interesting places to visit. Thank you for two fantastic weeks of holiday at your lovely Cottage Vittoria!

The location was great - the beach was just 2 minutes away by foot, the terrace upstairs was the place where we had drinks every evening, and the town itself has 2 restaurants in case you don't want to cook or travel anywhere else for dinner.

We had an exceptional stay in Donato’s place. The location is peaceful (just the sound of nature and waves nearby), perfect for exploring the area, and the stunning views are special. We loved using the different outdoor areas of the cottage to relax in. A family of very cute and friendly kittens played in the gardens and kept us company during our holiday, which we absolutely loved! The interior is tasteful and modern, excellently up-kept and spotlessly clean. The amenities are good and Donato and his wonderful father, Francesco, took care of anything missing or requested straight away. They were always on-hand to help and offered an amazing amount of tips for us to get the most from our stay. We took advantage of several of the recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed an authentic (almost entirely tourist free) Italian experience. Their hospitality was beyond generous - we are so grateful to have spent our holiday here. We do not have anything negative to say about Cottage Vittoria at all! For future guests, we’d just note that a small car would be particularly helpful (the driveway is tight and up a steep hill); only the bathroom has a (head-height) mirror; beach towels are not provided (bathroom towels only); WiFi is easy but weaker on the terrace; the kittens are heartwarmingly grateful for any affection or care - please respect and enjoy them :) Our overall impression far exceeded expectations and we feel very lucky to have found this place. We also very much hope to return again!

The house was super located: close to the sea and very quiet. The care and welcome by the owners Donato and his father Francesco was very friendly and extremely efficient and the response times to questions or requests was always very fast. The house was very clean and very well equipped. Everything you need is available. The sanitary installations worked perfectly. All windows have mosquito screens. From the terrace on the roof you have a great view of the sea and the small pool on the terrace invites you to linger. We had a great time in this house and would rent it again anytime.

Great outdoor spaces, pretty decoration, close to the sea. Owners extremely helpful and kind! With a baby the place was excellent, she could crawl around the fenced off area and the pool is high so very safe and soft for our baby to play. Cot and high chair provided. Amazing sea views.

Cottage Vittoria is beautiful accommodation close to the sea. It is ideal if you like swimming in the sea and jumping off rocks- great fun. The villa has great amenities and fabulous sitting out areas. It was lovely to be able to relax on both terraces, eat outside, sunbathe and cool off in the plunge pool. Very relaxing. Donato and family were excellent and helpful hosts. A fantastic escape from the grey English weather! Great beach bar and a couple of good restaurants nearby.

The set up of the villa is super well done and the area is super calm. The location very convenient to drive around to discover the beauty of Salento. This idyllic home was the perfect place for the calm and relaxation that we needed. From start to finish everything was perfect. From organizing the arrival with Donato to the amazing welcome by his family. We felt at home and truly welcomed by a great Italian family. The location was perfect, so close to the sea that you can hear the waves crashing. It was calm and well-oriented. The accessible parking was a huge plus for us with the car. The unit was also perfect, beautifully decorated and one of the cleanest places we have ever been. The wifi was good and useful to work from. The kitchen was really nice and great to cook up some family meals. The outside areas are one of the best parts of this home: the upstairs terrace was perfect for a cup of tea in the sun while admiring the sea, but also for stargazing at night. The area surrounding is lovely, with beautiful walks and sights to see. We had a fantastic time and really recommend this place 110%. A special thank you to Donato, and his lovely father who came to welcome us but also treat us to special Italian cakes to say goodbye. Donato was always available for anything we needed by phone and was a fantastic host. Don't miss out on staying here, we felt so lucky to have been able to stay in such a wonderful place.
