The hotel was in an excellent spot — very close to the lake, and within easy reach of both Füssen and Neuschwanstein Castle. There were also plenty of local restaurants nearby, which was a big plus.

“Lov the location and loved the hotel .. very clean and friendly place to visit.”
Everything it had lots of space and was very comfortable with a lovely view from the balcony. Check in was nice and easy and free parking. The added bonus of the Irish bar below the hotel.. it serves amazing food and the bar manger is so welcoming.

“Great home base for relaxing in”
Picking up keys (in a labelled envelope) was easy once we found the proper door (upstairs, look for Vitusfort, not Vitushohle). Our room was Cliffs of Moher, which was excellent. Comfy bed, tons of room, minifridge, balcony overlooking road/restaurant seating, but excellent windows/curtains blocked out unwanted noise/light. Really this room would be a perfect base for a relaxing multiday/chill long weekend. Pretty location within walking distance of the lake. There is a convenient restaurant downstairs, and a couple others in walking distance. Fussen would be quite a long walk (you'd want to walk or drive). Location also has some board games for use as well as laundry access and a drink vending machine. Easy drive to the castles.
