It was decent. Location is perfect, right near Toroko park. There aren't any restaurants nearby though, so be aware of that.

Very friendly people, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean as well. The breakfast that was provided was tasty and filling, and they even drove me to the train station when I left!

Exceptional stay. The management operates with a level of honesty and initiative that is far beyond the industry standard. They went out of their way to ensure I was treated fairly regarding my booking, showing genuine integrity rather than just following a script. It is rare to find such high-quality service and a prime location that also offers such incredible value for money. Truly a standout experience; highly recommended.

Exceptional hospitality. The hosts were so kind to me, they gave me food and told me about their way of living as well as trying in the traditional clothing.

The owners were friendly and talkative, they did a photo shoot and nice breakfast as well! They don't speak mich English but are very good with Google translate. A lovely place to stay near the Taroko Gorge

The hosts are super friendly! You could get a sip of the culture of the Aboriginal tribe Toroko at there. You could enjoy the traditional food during the breakfast, and wear their traditional clothing for free.

“Great time staying with very welcoming local people. I recommend!”

I chose a bed in the dorm but I was the only guest that day so I had the entire room for me. The hosts is a local family and they are really welcoming. It is one of the rare places where I felt like a guest and not just like another tourist. They wanted me to feel comfortable and made a lot of effort to communicate with me (we used the phone translator but it was a lot of fun). I had a great time there. Everybody was kind and helpful. They even offered to drop me off at the train station when I continued my journey. They invited me for diner as I was checking in during diner time which was very nice of them. I enjoyed the experience because they are interested in meeting you and it's not just about business.

The family who hosted us were so lovely and very generous. Even though we did not speak Chinese they were able to accommodate our needs and looked after us so well. Beautiful people. Thank you!

“Pleasant stay with friendly old couples”

Room is big and spacious and clean but it is not modern. Need to climb stairs to room. Breakfast was bun, jam, banana glutinous rice and tea. Owner is two nice friendly old couple of Taroko tribe in their seventies. They are really courteous and friendly and told us about their Taroko life. The husband is a Pastor. The wife dress up my daughter in Taroko tribe costumes for us to have photo shoots. We had a nice time chatting with them over breakfast. Place is just outside Taroko National Park. Nice and cheap food can be found in restaurants nearby. The wife recommended a good and cheap eating place for dinner. Parking is free.

The host Hana and her husband was very friendly and spent time talking to us and sharing about their local culture. My parents really enjoyed chatting with them. The property is also very comfortable and felt like our own home.
