Overview
Located in Funäsdalen Ski Resort, this hostel across the road from the ski lifts (100 metres) and offers ski-in/out access to the slope. It provides functional accommodation with access to a shared TV lounge and kitchen. All of Vandrarhem Funäsdalen’s simply decorated guest rooms feature a wash basin. Toilets and showers are shared. The hostel’s kitchen includes an electric cooker, a fridge and a microwave. Guests also have access to laundry facilities on site. Hiking, snowmobile and cross-country ski trails are found nearby. Other nearby leisure options include fishing and mountaineering. Guests can also use the sauna and outdoor spa bath for an additional cost. Funäsdalen Vandrarhem is about 5 minutes' walk from Härjedalens Fjällmuseum. Shops, restaurants and services are within a few minutes’ walk. Funäsdalen Bus Station is just 50 metres away.

“Nice view but overpriced”
I stayed there during Off season in October and was the only guest. Nice lake view from groundfloor level. Shared kitchen and leaving room ok if there are only a few guests. Otherwise the shared areas become pretty crowded. Unfortunatley I could not cook caused by a defect of the stove. The room feels a bit overpriced for Vandrarhem standard.

I really enjoyed staying at the Vandrarhem. Its very close to the main bus stop and in the city centre of Funäsdalen near by slopes and shops. The personnel was very nice, and even though I arrived late, it was extremely easy to check in. The facilities are made for skiers, so there is plenty of room if you have gears with you. The clientele was very mix: families, young couples with children, older international couples, teenagers, and skiers. I really enjoyed it!

Location: 1 minute from ski lift, 2 minutes to cross country tracks, 2 minutes from supermarket, 1 minute from bus stop. Fresh: everything modern and comfortable from rooms to lounge furniture to very well equipped kitchen to modern toilets and bathrooms. (Yes. Separate massive shower room, not just cubicle) Friendly staff and cleaners.

I had a great stay at Vandrarhem Funäsdalen! The staff was very nice and my room and the facilities are great to feel good and relaxed.
