“APA. Just APA”
Everything is as usual. I'll leave my standard review of this hotel chain: A classic APA hotel. All service standards and requirements are met, as in any other hotel in this chain. As always, nothing outstanding, but nothing to criticize either – minimalism and comfort at a reasonable price. But this hotel has one special advantage – a stunning onsen. Stylish and spacious, one of the best you can find in a hotel.

“Pleasant”
Returning to Hakata for the third time, I stayed at the APA Hotel & Resort near the East Exit of the station. The hotel is pristine and modern. A major highlight for me was the communal onsen, a wonderful way to unwind after a long day. The staff were helpful and spoke English well, making the check-in process seamless. It’s a fantastic hub for foodies and shoppers alike. Most importantly, the location is incredibly practical, even with three suitcases, the walk to Hakata Station was a breeze, making my trip to Fukuoka Airport stress-free.

Clean, plenty of amenities in the hotel (pool, laundry and sauna) and plenty of amenities within the room (full range of toiletries, slippers, kettle etc.). Staff were welcoming and friendly and did their best to answer all questions and be of assistance.

Location was convenient in close proximity to a konbini and Hakata Station itself. Rooms as per advertised and was comfortable albeit a little small but as expected for a business-hotel.

“Great location near Hakata station and wonderful onsen!”
The onsen was lovely, indoor and outdoor! I didn't use the pool so I can't comment. We were provided with yukatas for getting to/from the onsen which were nice! Room was definitely on the smaller side of what we've been using. I also sent some luggage forward to another hotel and staff sold me a box (200yen) and gave me the tape to seal it up and sent it forward for us. Great service and beautiful hotel!

It would be great if the hotel could help guests to call taxi. Because it is difficult for tourists to install an APP for calling taxi without a Japan phone number

Location was perfect, facilities were super clean and staff friendly. However the room was incredibly small. Spa was really nice. We loved that. Breakfast was very traditional which is great for those who are looking for that.
