Overview
Located just a 5-minute walk from Gekkoji Train Station in the Fuji Yoshida area, Mt. Fuji Hostel Michael's features free property-wide Wi-Fi and chargeable washing machines/clothes dryers. Popular Fujikyu Highland Amusement Park is an 8-minute train ride away. The property offers both simply furnished private rooms and dormitory rooms with bunk beds. All bunks come with private curtains and reading lights. Shower and toilets are shared. Housekeeping services including a linen change will be provided upon request. Towels are available at an additional charge. Mt Fuji Hostel Michael's offers free-use lockers (deposit required) and luggage storage services (subject to availability). The hostel is a 20-minute walk to Chureito Pagoda, which provides a great view of Mount Fuji. Lake Kawaguchi can be reached within a 10-minute train ride.

It’s a very nice hotel, you can see mt. Fuji right there. Staffs are really kind & nice, helps me a lot, even I was late and didn’t know how to buy the ticket to there, they have so much patience and told me where to go. Will be live there again next time with my parents.

“Superb Stay at Michael’s”
Hostel is located at a short walk from Gekkouji station, there is a grocery store and Daiso nearby, vending machine also right outside the hostel. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming, also very knowledgeable about Mt. Fuji if you plan on climbing it, they helped us with the different busses we had to take and have multiple timetables available. They have 2 dorm rooms that fit 10 people and 2 private rooms. During our stay the dorms had about 5 people at most. There is a communal fridge/toaster oven/ microwave/ water cooker available to use. Be sure to label your food when you put it in the fridge. There are also lockers that you can rent that fit a large backpack and then some! Facilities were all very clean and well maintained, they also offer a laundry service for ¥500 (washing and drying). Everything is also really well labeled and had an explanation in multiple languages!

Small cute hostel with all the necessary facilities. good for exploring the area around Fuji. very nice and friendly staff that gave us recommendations for dinner and how to get to the nearest area for walking.

When I was trawelling it was the only low cost option in the town and it was perfect. They also offer free coffee and tea and Mt. Fuji is visible from the windows! I wanted to stay one more night, but it was fully booked, so I decided to go to Fujinomiya, which I can also recommend.
