Very clean and quiet, spacious room, good breakfast, very comfortable bed, pretty close to the station, most of all it's run by a wonderfully kind and nice lady.

It's probably my favourite stay in Japan. Machiko-san is such a wonderful and nice host. I really appreciate the conversations we had and how she runs the hostel. It feels like home, it's clean and comfortable. I arrived by bicycle and i could park it under the roof, which was very nice. If i ever come back, i'll definitely stay here again.

We like breakfast that the host made. We also like the hostel location that nearby the famous places, such as Arakura Fuji Senqen Shrine, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Street. Most importantly, the host was very kind, polite and helpful woman. When we check-out, the host made a special gift for us, and wish good health ,good luck, and happiness for us. We felt surprises and touching, it's one of the memorable memories in our Japan trips. We will never forget this.

Brautifully presented, clean, good facilities with thoughtful touches. Great location close to train and shops. The host Machiko went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner and made us a delicious breakfast.

“Homely and cozy stay”

Lovely, cozy place to stay at after a day out in the snow. The room was spacious for 2 people and was very warm. Bed was very comfortable. A lovely breakfast was included. In a great location only about a 8-10 min walk from the station and easily walkable to Chureito Pagoda, which was highlight of the trip.

It was a very beautiful room with a nice tatami floor and good facilities. The owner was very nice and very kind to make breakfast. In general a very nice place for the more hostel style stays.

“A home away from home!”

Hostel Mt Fuji was a fantastic stay. We felt really relaxed, and loved the dining area with free tea and coffee. Our room was also very comfortable, and well kept. The showers and toilets are really clean, and there are sinks and mirrors for getting ready. It was by far the most at home we felt on our trip. The owner is very kind, and helpful. She helped us with restaurant recommendations, bus timetables and sightseeing spots. She also gave us her WhatsApp number if we couldn’t find her and needed anything else. Excellent hospitality! I would highly recommend Hostel Mt Fuji 😊

“Great place to stay to explore the area around Mount Fuji.”

We really enjoyed our stay at Hostel Mt Fuji. The place was calm, comfortable and clean and the owner is so sweet, thoughtful and helpful. She recommended some amazing restaurants and helped us out with whatever we wanted to do. The hostel has a parking space and is located at a walking distance from shops, restaurants and the station.

The hostel was very cosy and clean. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. The host is a very kind lady who made us feel very welcome and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing in the neighbourhood. I definitely recommend to stay here!

Usually not a hostel person, but if all hostels were like this I wouldn’t hesitate to book more often! The place was super clean, bed was comfortable and location was ideal if you need to get to mt. Fuji station and surroundings. The host was super friendly and welcoming and gave us great tips!

The hot water shower isn’t working properly. While having showers hot water switch to cold water.
