“We will never forget this beautiful cultural experience and friendly hosting, thank you”
We really loved this magical cultural experience as felt like we were back in time 400 years ago. staying in a traditional Royokan. The host was so friendly and nurturing and our children loved her dog Tololo. The gardens and the serenity was just what we needed after a busy week in Tokyo and the views of Mt Fuji just outside were incredible!

“Kind to my soul”
Well cared for older home. Very quiet and peaceful. Not too hard to walk to and from the station and some local restaurants if you're not carrying much. I hope anyone who stays here can be gentle to the building and the surroundings. The host asked when I wanted to take a bath, at first I didn't know why. Then I learned that they will pour the bath for you in the bathhouse, which takes about 20 minutes. Arigatou!

“Peaceful Traditional Japanese place at the bottom of Fuji San”
Peaceful and real traditional Japanese house at the bottom of Mt Fuji. It was the highlight of our stay in Japan. The owner was very polite and welcoming. Even though we thought sleeping on a futon bed was gonna be difficult, we had an amazing sleep with the sound of the water in the background. We truly enjoyed the experience and we only regret not having stayed for one more night. It is a pilgrimage facility, so the bathroom is shared but was absolutely no problem. We felt isolated from the world in a good way, we were one of the only tourists in the area. There is a convenience store and few small restaurants nearby which makes it easier to grab some food

Lovely, peaceful, beautiful, the best experience for a lodging in a old local traditional house in Japan. The host is just so sweet! Localisation is good, not far from the temples.

“Traditional Stay in Fujiyoshida”
We stayed for two nights with our 8 month old son. The host is really friendly and nice. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the garden is awesome! Highly recommend to stay here if you have the chance. The accommodation is not cheap, but worth it. I'm not regretting to spend the money.

The best place to stay in Japan! Amazing old house with amazing host surrounded by beautiful garden. Place where you can feel the spirit of Japan, japaneese culture and hospitality. The only thing that we regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Go there and enjoy, you won’t be disapointed! :)
