“The house is spacious and quiet despite being next to the road, but the lack of warmth and hot water during winter reall”

The house is quite large and spacious, which is a nice surprise. The location is literally right next to the road (really next to it 😄), but since this is Fuji, Japan, there was no loud traffic noise or motorcycles, so it was still peaceful. The property is a renovated former bar, which makes it feel unique and different from typical accommodations.

A unique and good-value stay Samurise No.4 is a very unique property. It used to be a roadside café, and the original bar counter and small restaurant kitchen have been well preserved. The former dining area has been converted into a sleeping space with four beds. There is also a spacious Japanese bedroom upstairs that can accommodate more guests, although for our family of four, we did not need to use the upstairs space at all. The property was kept in good, clean condition. The heating worked well overall, though it could be more evenly distributed in some areas. The bathroom is designed for soaking, with a temperature-controlled bathtub, which our daughters absolutely loved.

It is a nice place if you are visiting the area by car with family or a group of friends. If you do pre-check-in process, key collection and check-in on site is easy. The place is spacious, clean and provides good value for your money. Super market, DIY store, 100 yen shop are all close by. You can do BBQ outside.

Overall, this property exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and value for money. I would gladly return and recommend it to others looking for a reliable and enjoyable place to stay.
